Development Thread:
Description: A design to fill the missing role of a heavy dropship for Crina and the Imperial Remnant, the Stalwart Class Corvette is essentially a glorified troop transport. Developed by Crinan Royal Industries recently incorporating their usual Crinan design work, the Stalwart Class resembles their craft more so than traditional Imperial vessels. However, it more usually carries Imperial Soldiers to combat zones, along with supporting vehicles such as the AT-AW and AT-FAT, which itself carries a small compliment.

Armed with four single barreled heavy turbolasers, eight heavy laser cannons, four chaff launchers, and a single Proton Torpedo Launcher, the Stalwart class primarily acts as a picket in actual space combat, normally only performing frontline duty until an opportunity to descend to the planet below presents itself. Whereupon the ship would deploy its task force from the rear of the ship, where a large ramp connecting to the vehicle hanger is settled between the engines, being one of the few ways to deploy craft as large as the AT-FAT.

In the end the Stalwart class settles in a support role, even its weapon placement being optimal for defending against attacks while acting as the waypoint the task force it disgorges once landfall has been made.
