SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • The tanks have incredible offensive capabilities, and can usually dominate most other tanks. While they are optimised towards Anti-tank combat, any infantry squad that gets spotted will get blown up courtesy of that main gun and the HellFire missiles.
  • The tanks have excellent field-awareness, and as such can easily lead a regional conflict. The extreme protection that they afford their crew means that they can be used as command vehicles when not bullying enemy tanks.
WEAKNESSES
  • Tanks are not equipped with anti-air solutions, and while the HellFire can be utilised for that function, their limited number that can be equipped at one time makes them too precious for that function. As such, SSBB would like to recommend The OTOMATIC Mk1 for that supporting function.
DESCRIPTION
The Ransom tanks excel in tank-to-tank combat, and are very capable of taking out any vehicle that strays onto their path. They represent SSBBs attempt to offer a tank unparalleled by its peers, capable of turning the tide of an entire conflict.
While it houses no visible anti-air measures, the on-board HellFire missiles can be used for that purpose. At the same time, however, its excellent Armor means that it is capable of surviving sustained fire from airsupport craft, giving time for anti-air assets to move in.
As an all-terrain tank, it is capable of functioning wherever the operator wishes to strike at the enemy. Also, the dual-movement style means that the tank can also be air-dropped straight onto the battlefield- Just before touchdown, the repulsers are overclocked to maximum, allowing the Tank to have a gentle landing, provided that the jump began at a height of no greater than a kilometre. However, the overclocking also means that repulsors need a while to reset, and as such the tank must rely on tracks for the recharge duration of about an hour.
