STRENGTHS
  • Laser Hose: The Spice Runner Special is a weapon purely designed to put as many blaster bolts downrange as possible in as short a time as possible, at the cost of just about everything else.
  • Lightweight: The SRS is very lightweight, and as such multiple can be carried if the user so desires.
WEAKNESSES
  • Accuracy: Because of the incredibly high fire rate, the Spice Runner Special is also incredibly inaccurate when fired for any extended period of time.
  • Up to 11 (or is it Down?): The complaints of the regular E-11 are all amplified by the modification. The smaller barrel means the gun is far less accurate, and the gun is even more prone to overheating due to the radically increased rate of fire.
  • Recoil: The removal of the stock, along with the light weight of the weapon, means there is little in the way of recoil control from the high rate of fire. As such, even the steadiest of hands tend to have a hard time keeping the SRS on target.
  • Hothothot!: The Spice Runner Special is even more prone to overheating than the weapon it was modified from, and trying to expend all 500 shots in the plasma pack is a very good way to cause it to explode and take your hand with it.
DESCRIPTION
The Spice Runner Special is a blaster designed by the Shadow Hand Cartel, but due to the ease of its manufacture and low cost it can be found in the hands of hoodlums and low-lifes across the galaxy. Created from old surplus E-11 blaster rifles, the barrel was replaced with a much smaller one and all internal limiters on fire rate and overheating are removed. The resulting weapon is one that excels at filling the air with an inhuman amount of blaster bolts, but little else. The Spice Runner Special is wildly inaccurate due to the excessive rate of fire, and due to its light weight and the removal of the stock there is very little in the way of recoil control. The blaster is also even more temperamental than the E-11, and overheating is common.

When safety is of no concern and you want that guy across the table to be filled with more holes than a poorly written holovid, reach for a Spice Runner Special!
