SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Remote Interface: Via the synergy of neural interfacing and the Luminous Mist synchronizing with Tessa's own skill in Mechu Deru, as long as Tessa can see the controls of the ship, she can control it. Closer proximity and touch make this control easier and more complete.

  • Not All Who Wander: With Tessa's skill in Insctinctive Astrogation, this implant excels, making it easier and quicker to plot courses, seeming almost like blind luck without thought to others, but in reality being a melding of the gut-instinct of Astrogation and the fusion of tech and Force from the implant.
STRENGTHS
  • Part of the Ship, Part of the Crew: Modest improvement to various functions of a starship ( Improved targeting. Enhanced awareness of ship system integrity, Shorter reaction time, better situational awareness.

  • All Your Base Are Belong To Us: Allowing an interface that typically requires a specialized datapad, this implant utilizes the inherent Mechu Deru talents of it's host Tessa Sedaire Tessa Sedaire to enable slicing and other "hacker" like activities at an increased speed and ease, though the actual "quality" of these attempts is still wholly dependent onher skill. Ease of Interface only.

WEAKNESSES
  • Part of the Ship, Part of the Crew: Force null fields can cause seizures, hallucinations, nightmares and dissociative episodes in the pilot.

  • Cold as the Black: Repeated, longer exposure can cause deadened emotions and sociopathic tendencies.

  • Spirit of the Stars: Without a connection to the Force, this implant would offer minimal to no benefits to an NFU, and standard Force Nullification fields or the like will stop it from functioning.
DESCRIPTION

Using Tessa's knowledge of the Luminous Mist, and several new contacts from Darkwire, as well as open-source blueprints from iBorg on their neural piloting interface, a new creation was born. Amplifying and broadening the powers already possessed by the young Sedaire woman (namely - Instinctive Astrogation, Wayfinding, and Mechu Deru) it has taken her from a gifted Force-sensitive pilot to beyond even prodigy, allowing feats of control and maneuvering and the like that sometimes defy someone so young and relatively inexperienced compared to others. Shots some might miss she makes routinely, and a turn or chase others would scuttle themselves during she emerges unscathed from.

As an added bonus, she can technically control her ship from her couch to catch her favorite Holonet murder mystery. Or, you know, hack into the fridge and turn the temperature down to keep the blue milk frosty.
