Pictured here are eight of the orbs orbiting around 50-H31.

Intent: 50-H31's signature weapon.
Development Thread: Upon request.
Manufacturer: Five-oh made them himself!
Model: N/A
Affiliation: 50-H31.
Modularity: No, but other remotes could be controlled in conjunction with them.
Production: Semi-Unique--He made thirty of them, but they are replaceable with time and parts. He ofter keeps soem around his neck and other hidden on his person.
Material: Bronzium, ionic batteries, repulsor lifts, a primitive remote operatign system (think a droid brain built for little to no independent design).
Classification: Self-propelled bludgeon/shock weaponry.
Size:
Length: Each Sphere is .15 meters in diameter.
Weight: Each individual sphere weighs 3 kilograms.
Ammunition Type: Ionic Batteries in each Sphere.
Ammunition Capacity: The batteries can each maintain about sixty minutes of sustained "stun" electrical output, fifteen minutes of "lethal" output or twelve hours of prolonged levitation. After this is drained, there is no power to move the spheres and they must be collected manually.
Effective Range: Direct Neural control requires that 50-H31 be within at least 350 meters to maintain any control over the levitation systems.

Special Features:

  • Self-propelled
  • Controlled via internal uplink in 50-H31's brain.
  • Capable of producing electrical fields that damage on touch, similar to a shock glove.
  • Designed with a Non-lethal stun setting as well as a lethal electrocution level.
  • Can explode if overloaded.

Description:

Based on levitating prayer beads mentioned a heroic epic regarding the Force-sensitive Monk Dao Jodh, the Heavenly Spheres are made both as prayer and a meditative exercise. Controlling them became a natural form for the Tactical droid, allowing him to move his weapons as pieces in a game or troops upon a battle-field. In conjunction with his own levitation and close-range combat, Five-oh's Spheres can be a powerful asset.

Of particular note is the shock settings installed on each Sphere. While the bronzium orbs work suitably as a flying bludgeon, they can also produce short bursts or sustained shocks of electrical energy that shock an opponent on contact. The bursts conduct evenly across the surface of the orb. making the entire sphere a charged surface. The versatility of the spheres allows them to be set to stunning or lethal doses of amperage for the average humanoid.

In a desperate move, Five-oh can sacrifice an orb by overclocking it's voltaic capacitor, causing it to self-destruct in burst of electricity a few feet wide. He tries to avoid this, as it take considerable time to acquire raw materials and build more spheres.

Each Sphere can peak at a speed of 40 km/h, allowing it to smash through things rather harshly. Also, due to odd acoustics, each sphere makes a resounding "gong" noise when it impacts another metal.
