  • Chromium Barrel Lining: A thin lining of Chromium inside the barrel to reduce wear and tear inside the barrel
  • Contoured Grip: The grip was designed to fit the shooters hand and make it more ergonomic to fire
  • Slide Serrations: Serrations were cut into the slide to make it easier to cock in some conditions
Strengths:
  • Beefed Up Cartridge: Noah decided to chamber the pistol is in a 11.43x23mm cartridge, a relatively large cartridge, to give it a edge in stopping power
  • Recoil Buffer System: In order to reduce the recoil produced by the pistols large cartridge Noah created a custom recoil buffer system for it
  • Various Ammunition Types: Unlike blasters, slugthrowers can load various types of ammunition like hollow-point, incendiary and armor piercing to name a few
Weaknesses:
  • Low Ammunition Capacity: Like most slugthrowers the pistol suffers from a low ammunition capacity making prolonged fire fights a danger for users
  • Recoil Buffer System: While reducing the pistols recoil the buffer system also has the side effect of lowering the pistol rate of fire
  • Battlefield Scarcity: Due to the rare nature of the cartridges it is nigh impossible to resupply on the battlefield making, once again, prolonged fire fights hazardous
DESCRIPTION:
With the fall of yet another government he was serving Noah once again turned his eyes toward mercenary work. To do this he'd need a team but before a team he'd need something to outfit them with so he began work on a series of weapons.

As with most weapons he designs Noah started with the projectile the weapon would fire. He contemplated two cartridge at first: Reusing the an old favorite, a 10mm cartridge from his old sidearm for its stopping power or a new 5.7mm cartridge for its penetration. In the end Noah chose stopping power over penetration but instead of the old 10mm cartridge he chose a new 11mm cartridge. While this gave him less rounds to work with he figured the extra stopping power would be worth it.

After getting the projectile chosen he needed to decided on the materials next. On this front he went the route of if it is not broken don't fix and decided on using the same materials from one of his old sidearms. High impact lightweight polymer was used from the slide and the grip to help lower the weight. Titanium-Alusteel alloy was used to again lighten weight but also give the pistol some extra grit. Hammer forged Quandanium steel barrel was used despite it increasing the weight because it reduced recoil. Chromium lined the barrel to reduced damage to the barrel. Finally he coated the pistol in a special protective ceramic coating to improve durability, giving it its distinct tan color.

Once done with this he added in some special features, some new and some old, to the pistol to finish out the weapon.

Once the pistol was fully constructed Noah went on to testing. During this he put about ten thousand rounds through the pistol, the objective to push the weapon to the breaking point and beyond. He tested in the snow, sand, rain and even underwater to test the pistol in every environment possible. In the end Noah was impressed with his handiwork and got to work make more than just the prototype for when he created his team.

Please link any specifically named materials used in the submission.

If you can do these two quick little house keeping things, I can happily stamp this with a seal of approval

1. The reason a group is not linked yet is because one isn't created. I wanna get the tech outta the way before I create the group.
2. Fixed the materials issue.
