Dominion Specters of a Shrouded Past (Silver Jedi Concord dominion of Danuta)

Mig looked at Rann, taking a few breaths before quickly using Alter Environment to give them some added cover before ducking down again. "That didn't look good. You ok?" Mig couldn't say much more before another Nek tried to jump him, this time alone. He was quick to jump out of the way and pull out his Sith-made dagger. He would jump forward, and quickly stab the blade into the creatures neck. Ok. A lot easier then a pack of them. He looked around before hear the distinct charge and fire of the Slugger tank. Good. They must've spotted the droids.

Cordy watched through sensors as the battle continued. Concordia continued to fire flak and particle cannons as it moved closer. While the railguns wouldn't fire while the flak cloud blocked their field of fire, other weapons would begin to swing around and prep for any strike craft approaching. Cordy would appear on the ship's bridge, looking at the captain.

"Mama, we should push in and help the Mon Cala fleet shouldn't we? Form up and...."

"Cordy. Look how that ship's firing. Right now we're dividing it's attention, so keep us on our current course." Cordy took a "breath" for a second before nodding. Should would keep directing the flak guns for now though.

Meanwhile, Vaux was darting around space, doing her best to burst shoot a Eta-Angel, hoping to down it. She then saw the transports launching, and quickly sent a transmission to both Reef Home and Concordia.

"This is CT, I'm seeing multiple transports taking off."

"That didn't look good. You ok?"

"Naas."

It almost was nothing - at least nothing of note in his hardscrabble life.

Rann never could seem to catch a break.

Even as though the droid was no longer threat, plenty remained on the battlefield. The noise that they had generated in fighting their formidable foe had quickly attracted more nek hounds, one of which went straight for Mig Gred Mig Gred . He turned his revolver on another one of the charging beasts and fired - in double action the revolver's trigger was longer and stiff, but it was still smooth enough that he managed to send a slug flying through the air and into the beast's shoulder bone, shattering that joint before it plunged deeper into the creature's lungs and bowels. Its leg broken, the cyborg beast skidded forward him, its jaws wide open.

No you don't.

He shifted weight on one leg before giving the beast a sharp snap kick to its head. The mandalorian managed to break its jaw, though the nek's teeth had managed to tear up some of the sole of his boot. Fethin beasts...

Mig just nodded, quickly throwing a kinitite into another nek. He honestly didn't like this position. It just seemed to be a dang kill zone right now. Mig looked at Rann, and the nek he had just finished off as well. He looked around, finally taking a breath before speaking up.

"Let's try to get some high ground. Not sure these things can climb too well."

"As long as we can avoid the droids," muttered Rann to Mig Gred Mig Gred .

Though briefly thinking about it - getting incinerated in a few seconds by a laser cannon bolt from a droid seemed a far less painful death than getting torn to pieces by cybernetically enhanced beasts. He fired the last shot in his revolver's cylinder - the heavy mass of the bullet smashed into a nek's hindquarters, crippling it, but not killing it. Frothing at the mouth, the creature limped towards it. Fethin die already. He pulled his left ring finger, causing a flash of pulsating light to shoot forth from left wrist - electricity from his static blaster finished off the beast. It's muscles convulsed from the current, causing it to shake and its electronic grafts to spew out smoke before Rann stopped firing. The creature lie still.

Briefly glancing about, he fired up his jetpack, causing the man to ascend into the air. Not wanting to remain airborne for long, less he grab a battle droid's attention, he quickly cut down its thrust and made a running landing on a nearby rooftop before he unslung his rifle.

Mig looks around, quickly sending Force Lightning into a nearby nek hoping to just fry it. He would then quickly run up and grab a roof ledge, pulling himself to some high ground. He then shifted his Trayc'kad to it's blaster mode. He may not've been a good shot, but it was better than nothing. And he still had one ace in the hole.

"Mynock. Home in on my coordinates. Could use some extra firepower here." Mig then looked over at Rann, sighing a little. "Starting to think I should've tried to bring some more help."

Rann grunted back Mig Gred Mig Gred , "One can never seem to have enough good help in this line of work."

He swung his rifle around and down onto a charging pack of neks. Not bothering to get a precise line-up through his scope, he repeatedly tapped the trigger, spraying the vicinity with blaster bolts. Based on the howls emanating below, he guessed that he had hit some of them. He started to continue to swing his rifle over the building's ledge, but his HUD suddenly turned red as an alarm rang in his helmet. He instinctively dropped to lay prone on the roof, just in time to feel the heat from a laser cannon bolt whiz past him. Fethin droid.

He fumbled with his rifle, switching it over to the underbarrel grenade launcher. He scrambled up to his feet, ignited his jetpack, and briefly ascended into the air, all while looking down at the quadraped droid below him. Its guns slowly began to raise up to track him. The mandalorian promptly fired his grenade launcher, peppering the droid with micro-grenades. A few streams of smoke rose up from the damaged droid, but none of them had the power to outright destroy it. He promptly cut out his jetpack as the droid began to fire back at him. Falling haphazardly downward, he reactivated it just in time to make a semi-controlled landing next to the other mandalorian.

"I don't suppose you have something a little bit bigger you can bring in before this turns into a real shu'shuk?"
