DESCRIPTION
The REC-CSP/01 Spatha-Class Speederbike was the newest Speederbike on offer by the Coruscanti-based Shipwright; Republic Engineering Corporation. The design was an iconic recreation of an ancient vehicle but was interwoven with countless technological advancements from the modern era. With its compact and streamlined design, the Spatha was capable of rapidly traversing rough terrain through the variable advancements in anti-gravitic technology that revolved around Repulsorlift Engines. When it came to the outfitted armaments, the Spatha was generously endowed for a vehicle of its classification.

With four light repeating particle cannons, the Speederbike was capable of engaging packed formations of infantry, or even light vehicles. While such weaponry would do little against larger enemies and heavier vehicles, the mobility of the Spatha made the Speederbike a credible threat to slow-moving opposition. Something about death from a thousand cuts. From there, the Spatha came with an optional side-mounting that could support a Side-car with an additional passenger. That passenger held the potential of increasing the Spatha’s lethality, as that additional passenger could sport either a pintle-mounted particle cannon - or a shoulder-mounted warhead launcher.

From there, the Speederbike was capable of supporting the Pilot whilst the rider wielded a Power Lance into battle. With the integrated Droid brain installed, which in and of itself housed a limited artificial intelligence, the Spatha would consistently adjust to the various movements of the Pilot. Those adjustments would ensure that the Speederbike was balanced along a central axis, and assist the Rider by making sure that they didn’t fall off through minor errors in spatial judgement. Thus, with the Spatha in hand, ancient Calvary tactics would find themselves revived in the modern era and given new life on the myriad battlefields across the Galaxy.
