Southern Systems Business Bazaar Expo

"Really, thats it? Idle threats?!"

Shorn wasn't there, he had already faded out of view. It occurred to him that perhaps he was the only one who could see the 'spirit' of the Sith. If so, he just looked like a complete idiot having a mental breakdown near a algae fuel processing hub. It wouldn't be the first time at one of these business things that folks had lost it. Happened at nearly every show. Judah just preferred not to be the one talked about in hushed tones around the banquet tables later on.

As for Shorn's daughter...well....Judah wasn't rearranging his life for a ghost. Nor was he for some kid that wasn't even his. If they crossed paths, so be it.

ATTENTION ALL EXPO PATRONS

Galicus smiled and placed his elongated hands over to his pouch producing the datapad and working up the transactions. "I will forward you the information and contact baron, with warforged nothing is temporary." He smiled cordially as he nodded to the baron and finalized the information upload to his location. Mythos on the other hand was busy looking up the schematics and statistics of Rhydonium fuel. What he found pleased him, a volatile and unstable substance that in theory could make up one large explosion.

The only question left was... How quickly could they weaponize it?

"As for the details, they will all be in the package i sent you." Galicus said, a wary eye to his surroundings. Privacy in business meetings was an edge the competition never had to have. Galicus learned this the hard way... that was a story for another day. The destination would of course, be Atrisia, the shipyard out the beaten path in the system to a purposed flagship now turned space station, this was to be the main storage of the fuel sources as well as the protected chambers of the cloning spheres. Shipments would be constant and with enough of the fuel to fit into a large freighter. Warforged already had a research and military analysis company in the payroll, this would be their first assignment.

Weaponize the Rhydonium into something truly devastating.

The contract had no expiration date put forth by Galicus, for as long as Rhydonium could go boom, the Administratum would see to it that the flow of the fuel could continue.
"Feel free to edit or suggest a different template for the contract as your pleasure there is no hurry." Galicus said, easing any tension that might rise or had existed at the start.

Cutting through the crowd like a blood red knife. A small number of persons walked in single file, wearing red, professional attire. Parting the multitude as they went, one could see the blood red fabric skillfully assembled to look like a skull with it's jaw partially agape. The insignia of the extremely large, but low-key organization Abrogation Inc. Andreas? He was lounging behind his desk, checking off fulfilled contracts on his target list on a wide holo-screen. He never did any errands of this kind himself. He was the mercenary and his workers the...well, workers.
They didn't waste any time. They had already been given instructions on where each booth would be and, of course, what to buy from them. They split up, some went to [member=Alric Kuhn] of Vanir Technologies to purchase a pair of VT Grav Gloves and a suit of VT Shark Skin. The others approached [member=Seraphina Shel'tah] of Galactic Equipment and Robotics for a GE-BSI.

"Oh good golly, are you okay?!" Kaile would immediately shift from joyful to concerned. Oftentimes, she forgot that Bobo had a tendency to make things a bit interesting. She herself had him with her at all times that she'd grown used to it. Granted, that made the very rare times when she would be separated from Bobo rather painful.

It would be as if her senses were ablaze, everything heightened to the extreme. As if seeing in colors after only being surrounded in muted grays. Kaile didn't mind it, Bobo was her bestest friend in the 'Verse. It might make her feel as if she was in a swaddle, nulled by the Force, but she'd grown accustomed to it since then.

"Sorry," she gave a rather sheepish smile.

Sera held up a hand, simply to keep a small bit of distance between herself and the Force neutralizing creature. "Yes, I'm okay. Just..." She blinked a couple of times, refocusing herself as she sat back up slowly. "Just not quite used to that sensation." Smiling again she brushed herself off and stood back up. "No trouble, Kaile. Don't worry at all."

As the two conversed she noticed that [member="Elphaba nic Arose"] had wandered over towards the booth as well. Sera smiled. "Welcome. Is there anything that I -" She paused, then looked back at Kaile. "Or my assistant Kaile can help you with?" If the girl wanted to stick around Seraphina would be happy to keep her, and offer her a commission at the end of the day. After all, she knew what she was talking about, and it looked to her that she was a fast learner.

She looked at the twi'lek with a nod. She was rather liking it and spoke offering a smile. "Yes I am looking at that shield for combat and protection." She looked over some of the other stock and with the work she had been doing for the jedi mostly training and exploring. She rather enjoyed it. She had been working with Corvus for some of the exploring and fighting... the game preserve had taught her a few things while she rolled her shoulders adjusting a little and getting the credits. "With all the fighting even jedi need a little extra protection."

"Okay..." she was still a bit worried about Seraphina, but by then they had another join their little get together. Instantly Kaile perked. Not only because of a new face, but because of the praise at hearing the CEO of G.E.A.R. dub her an associate!

To be frank, considering how well Kaile was at simply making conversation, she had great customer service skills. It was no wonder she was able to get odd jobs here and there in the service industry.

"Oh!" she would rock on her heels and she gave a little wave and wiggle of her fingers in hello. "Hi!" Another sunny beam of a smile. At the mention of a shield, Kaile's forefinger rose and she gave a slight bounce of excitement.

"The Pee-Eee-Eses'!" they were here somewhere. They were the the personal energy shields created by G. E. A. R.

@Galicus Sagious

The Nikto gave a firm nod.

[ I shall have the contracts typed up and sent to you based on those terms.]

A glance over to his shoulder would indicate he now had delegated that task.

[ It is a pleasure to do business Galicus. ] the broad shoulders of the Nikto flexed and he gave a curt nod.

[ You'll have the contracts to sign shortly. ]

It would only take about fifteen minutes. When they were ready, a small datapacket was sent to Galicus' datapad for his signature.

"Excellent, i will keep in contact. As always if i can throw any customers your way i will be sure to speak highly" Galicus said, a satisfied expression on his face as he turned to the hologram of his nephew as he signed the datapacket and forwarded the same to Mythos which in turn the Sith Lord would oversee. "We will be hard pressed to keep up at this rate uncle, the growth of warforged will be unprecedented." Mythos stated, finishing his signature to the contract and finalizing the agreements between the two. The rest would be pure protocol from the employees for each respective company.

With a cordial salute Galicus moved on to the next booth to continue their rhythmical pattern. The next exposition to catch his eye was one that of the Correlian Engineering or C.E.C. He had heard already that this was one of the primer companies in the expo so when his eyes caught the luxurious speeder that was displayed, he was not at all surprised.

The black and smooth design of the speeder was outstanding and the company that produced it was not short in flaunting it's superior design as it was clearly one of the most sought after items in the entire exposition.
"Oh but we have not finished yet my boy, if you are to properly have a military force of warforged we will need transports and this company just so happens to be having a sale on the very thing"

Mythos raised his concern before long. "Don't you think our expenses have run their course for the day uncle?" Galicus waved his hand and smiled shaking his head. "I will not authorize something we cannot cover, besides, every investment we make today shall repay it'self in kind ten fold, mark my words" Galicus finished, an assured tone in his voice, his figure approached the booth of correlian engineering and gazed directly at their catalog of carriers until his eyes rested upon exactly what he looked for. "Here" the muun said, passing the datapackage of the CT/400 military transport vehicle to his nephew.

Mythos opened the information and began to study the ship intently, he could not help but crack a wry smile when he saw the military transport come to life in his holonet receiver, its statistics and packages beaming in the blue light that emanated from the communicator. "Interesting..." He said with a chuckle, noticing the possibilities with troop deployment. "fine, i will indulge you, inquire on prices for a bulk orders, we will tally that up with our current expenses then we shall see if we can stretch as far as to acquire them"

Galicus nodded and reached out to the company representatives, yet knowing full well that he could make it so that the purchase could go through and when soliciting armored defenses and a swift response, these would work wonders in the hands of Sith soldiers.

Sera smiled warmly at the new guest. "Certainly." She pointed towards one of the boxes near Kaile's feet. "I believe they're in that one there Kaile."

Having someone to help was relaxing, and helped to pass the time more so than if she had been alone. "If you have any questions feel free to ask, either myself or Kaile can help you out."

The PES was one of the best selling items she had brought along. It was much more convenient than the typical energy shields, as well as more discreet, and in ways more useful. Despite their price tag they sold well enough.

Without further ado, Kaile would quite ecstatically crouch down by the box Sera had indicated. While the CEO would chit chat, Kaile began to hum. Since the boxes were closed, she had to get them open. A quick flick towards her belt, and her trusty Silk Holdings Servodriver came to play.

Sliding it across the top, she cut the meshtape that held the box closed. A few seconds later the flaps where carefully folded over and a load of packing foam removed.

With a smile, she caught sight of PES'. "Here you go!" she would beam, glancing up at the duo just as her fingers went curling around the box to pull it out.

She was looking at them now and nodding. The movement to go and get the shield for herself while bringing out the credits and presenting them as needed popping her neck and shoulders. "Thank you for this." Her master was not here but she could go and prepare to work with her when they were hunting down some of the larger creatures going over many of the things. She had more thoughts in her head though while wondering if Sera knew anything for getting her hands on some jakobeasts or maalrass bones.

"Chief Executive Officer of the Arceneau Trading Company, yes?" Catalys presumed to know, only having heard of her through connections within the Primeval.

Had he known her personally, he may have addressed her in a more casual manner. The Umbaran was not unused to procedures, and had a hunch he may have to wait before being granted an audience with Danger. Of course; before he was given any confirmation he decided to speak up first. "I believe you've done business with my employer in the past. Something to do with the Citadel Station; I am interested in furthering business."

Catalys lacked the smooth-talking skills of an entrepreneur, knowing very well his choice of words were both rusty and perhaps even a tad confusing.

Even still, his calculated gaze watched the door eagerly, hoping that he may gain entrance and speak with the CEO herself.

There was a moment, as if the holographic entity was cross checking information. A second later, the image gave a warm inviting smile.

[ Thank you. If I may please ask, what if your name, Sir? ]

The information certainly checked out, but the security guard needed to get the key bits of information first. Once that was verified, he would be allowed inside.

Meanwhile, within the VIP area, Danger would amble over to the bar, giving a small sigh. It had been a long day, and would be an even longer two weeks. Things were doing well, and with that she was happy with.

A low ball glass was set in front of her, the clinking of ice following after. Sometimes, a girl just needed a drink.

"Catalys Maijora," he stated plainly.

There's no telling what he might find inside, but certainly he did expect a rather lavish scenery for anything as secluded and secure as this.

It reminded him of Dubrillion, perhaps the only 'civilized' world within Primeval space where free market economics reigned, and the people were allowed to have their luxuries that otherwise weren't afforded elsewhere in Wild Space. Certainly it would have its differences, and someone as reputable as Danger would likely know how to alter appearances for well... Appearance's sake?

Not that it mattered greatly; the uncharismatic agent was unlikely to grasp the delicate nature of a businesswoman as successful as she was.

Thinking about it made him wonder, honestly. What kind of person was she? Ruthless, ambitious, charitable, or kind? Perhaps a mix of a few. Judging character was not in his objective, and thus he wouldn't even attempt to do such outside the parameters of his mission. Then again his mission also stated that he had more-or-less full control over how he proceeded.

[member="Catalys Maijora"]

[ One moment please, Mister Maijora.]

The holographic screen would pause while it would redirect the request to Danger.

-----------

Inside, a small beep would indicate the activation of the overhead comm.

[ Miz Arceneau. Catalys Maijora of the Primeval is here to speak to you. ]

The clink of glass would pause for a moment, drawing Danger’s attention from pouring the amber liquid into her glass.

“Catalys Maijora?” she echo’d, curious. With the Host Lord’s death and the rumors of a potential civil war brewing, eyes were on the Primeval to see just how the dice would land.

[ Mister Maijora states that you have conducted prior business with his employer, the Citadel Contract, and that he is interested in furthering that business. ]

Her nails would gently rap against the glass.

“Let him in. Have Nirew escort him here.”

[As you wish, Miz Arceneau.]

---------

The screen would bloom anew.

[ Thank you for your patience Mister Maijora. Nirew will escort you to the appropriate Vee-Eye-Pee Suite to meet with Miz Arceneau.]

Just then, the door would slid open with a soft hiss. Behind it, a Darkwater Security guard, a large Herglic, would give a subtle nod.

“This way, please.” he would say in a rough voice. He certainly had a bit of bass to it.

Down a corridor, the girth of the Herglic would guide Catalys towards the main VIP suite where Danger would be at.

Ke'Cholo idled around the Bazaar looking for something that might aid him in his upcoming trip to Korriban. After walking around for a few minutes his gaze was set on a poster showcasing a new kind of ship, the YVX-666 Medium Freighter, exactly what he would need to haul freight from Korriban off world. After asking around he found the seller would retire the design after the Bazaar ended. Finding the door to the private area the bazaar host was in, Ke'Chello walked up to the door panel which he saw someone else talking into. Before he bought the freighter he'd need to do something more important, ''I need to talk to ya' about an opportunity, can't say much else about it out here'' Ke'Chello said looking around for anyone close to him. ''Saw ano'der guy go in there, take ya time''

Somewhat imposing, the Herglic led Catalys within the suite where undoubtedly Danger was already prepared to receive him.

Following close behind, it was almost impossible to see past the bulk of the whale creature's muscles. Internally he couldn't help but think of asking where she had acquired such guards, but then again Exemplars didn't really use guard forces so much as they preferred assassins. "It must pay well to guard for someone like this Miss Arceneau, yeah?" He tried to make small talk with the mercenary.

The corridor was well-adorned, and rightfully so. He had a hunch that hidden beneath the delicate design were state-of-the-art defenses intended to minimize all threats that would attempt to prey on whoever lived here. Of course, that was once again internal thought processing... One probably didn't want to see where Catalys lived.

Almost there yet?

[member="Danger Arceneau"]

[member="Catalys Maijora"]

"Five percent above the standard." the Herglic's deep voice would rumble out. He was part of Darkwater, and Danger was one of the original contractors to hire the company for her security detail. It paid well to continue with it.

At the end of the corridor, the Herglic would shift his mass, moving towards an open area parlor. At the end of it, he would place his flipper upon the biometic scanner. A green light would beep, and the wide doors would slide open.

"Please enter, Miz Arceneau is waiting for you." He would gesture with a flipper.

Inside, a voice would drawl out thick like molasses and just as sweet.

"Pick your poison, Mistah Maijora?" Danger stood with her profile towards Cata, right by the bar as she poured herself a drink.
