Company Lawn
A beautiful stretch of green lawn greets all visitors and staff when they approach the head office. The grass and plants are carefully curated by the company's gardeners. Kiribi is an eco-friendly planet and the company had integrated the culture into its workspace. The greenery allows staff and visitors a chance to breathe in fresh air and have a relaxing stroll during their breaks.
Security Gates
Before entry into the building itself, all staff are required to scan their staff passes at the security gates to be granted entry. Armed security guards and droids are posted at the front gates to prevent intruders from entering. All vehicles can be parked in the underground parking garage after entering the gates. Top management staff are granted their own personal parking lots.
Front Office
The front office handles all customer facing services, including contract agreements, business negotiations and sale inquiries. Staff are instructed to treat all customers with respect. Meeting rooms are designed to face the beautiful lawn.
Middle Office
The middle office is the backbone of the company. The financial department plans the company's annual budget to be approved by the CEO. The risk and compliance department makes sure the staff are compliant to the company's rules and laws. The audit department provides an independent assessment on the company's risks and business operations. The marketing department plans the marketing strategies, advertisements and sponsorship requests.
Back Office
The back office handles all the back end operations to ensure the company runs smoothly. The logistics department make uses of advanced technologies and tracking systems to manage the company's inventories in warehouses and transportation of goods, including food deliveries. The technology department runs the company's back end systems, including virtual servers hosted in the bank's own private holo cloud.
Security operations center (SOC)
The information security department runs the world class security operations center here, staffed by personnel working in shifts to ensure security is kept online 24 hours without fail. Security staff monitors all holonet traffic entering and leaving the company, including employees' behaviour to reduce insider threats. Entry to SOC is restricted to authorised personnel and no tail gating is allowed.
Research Labs
The research labs is where all the magic happens. In here, chefs work and experiment with their creativity with kitchens that are fully supplied with fresh ingredients around the galaxy. Advanced brewing techniques are also researched here to see how new types of alcohol beverages can be crafted to suit the customers. Entry to the labs is restricted to authorised personnel only and no tail gating is allowed.
CEO Office
The CEO office is on the top floor of the building, accessible only by a small group of personnel other than the CEO herself. The office consist of a large work space to facilitate management discussions, a board meeting room, an exercise area and a stand alone pantry area. The pantry is stocked up with the different stimcaf brands for the CEO's guilty pleasure.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Kiribi is a planet that is known for its eco-friendly policies and cultures, with its government currently leaning towards the Collective's influence. As such, the government has provided Mariya with the much needed loans and funds to build up a new office building for her company. Soul Brothers & Sisters is built upon a newly acquired piece of land, which explains the ability to build and shape up beautiful greenery surrounding the office building.
The external design of the building itself is built with a modern architectural style that is also eco-friendly. The wide window panels allowing natural lightning from the sun to brighten up the office interiors. A beautiful lawn maintained by the company's gardeners surrounds the whole building, providing its employees a beautiful backdrop while they do their work no matter where they are located. The greenery also helps to relieve stress and encourages employees to take necessary breaks.
Interior design extends the aesthetic design of combining modern style with nature, with potted plants decorating the corners and the corridors in each floor. While lifts are available, the stairways have been designed with aesthetics in mind, featuring a circular spiral that allows people to have a good view across the whole company. This also encourages the staff to take the stairs instead of depending on the lifts, providing them some light exercises in the form of stairs climbing.
Solar panels are built on the rooftops, allowing the solar energy to continue powering up the company's systems even at night. Excess energy is stored in the company's own internal capacitors to serve as emergency power supplies when needed.
