Sorcerer Campaign: Codex Fragment Hunting (Fringe PM to Enter)

The Admiralty
Codex Judge
As the ship landed Jared could feel a presence pushing at him and his barriers, it the touch of dread and destruction, and it whispered to him. Whispers of betrayal and hurt, it wished him to give up.. lay down and just fall into an endless sleep of sorrow and defeat. The madness.. it was much to take in and still it felt somehow familiar to him.

A friend returned to him after all this time, just an embrace away from total and utter understanding. But then the moment had passed and Jared's vision cleared itself again. He straightened himself out and with a grimace walked out of the cockpit, joining up with the others.

Usually the Lord would have cracked wise now, trying to ease the tension that was there; lingering and festering. Or was it this world that made him feel sick to his stomach? Two steps he had made and then he was hit with the same feeling of despair and lunacy. This time its effect was far more strong and more pronounced.

Jared's vision turned black and he could not see, and then... he could. But this was not the same place they had been before, an ocean of fire surrounded him, as he turned around something crunched beneath his foot.

Some part of him screamed as he realized he was standing on a mountain of bones and skulls, and in front of him stood he. It was Jared Ovmar, but his sight inspired damnation. The contours were wrong and twisted, worms sticked out of his face and his eyes were pits of eternal ice. Only destruction was within.

His phantom beckoned towards him. Promising him eternal power, security and best of all.. vengeance.

realJared took a step forward and then two back, what was he doing? Only pain would be found at the end of that path. He blinked... and was back at the start.

He found himself kneeling, as they were attacked by phantoms of liquid fire; hell-spawn conjured by the man he had just seen. The masked man, Anaudius, wished to fight fire with fire.. little sense it made, but who was he to question anyone. After what he had just experienced... madness. Only madness was there for him.

As he reached out towards... Anders with the Force, he strengthened him.

“Remember thyself, Healer of Souls.”

In Jared's hands appeared constructs of the Force, blackness was their name, for light could not escape the void of their attraction. Small constructs they were, darts; as inspired by his Master. They flew and hopefully they would fly true.

"Fight or die."

Creatures, hellish creatures were all around them . Lucien didn't really know what was going on his mind felt foggy. He couldn't think much beyond don't Karking die. Lucien was wholeheartedly sure he didn't wan't to die he withdrew his saber focusing on it's hum as he ignited it. He lifted his left hand lightning arched from his fingers hitting these creatures.

Yet still the creatures continued to advance ... He had to clear his mind. He tried hard to focus and restore clarity whilst dancing around the hell spawn they are currently facing his blade sliding through Limbs. He couldn't tell if he was actually killing things all there was was thick acrid fog and the hell spawn. Inside his mind his Mind palace was crumbling fog leaking through the walls death all around criminals, servants his parents all were dead and buried and yet they walked his mind seemingly so alive they crowded him. He pushed hard to repel the confusion "Begone" He screamed, then came clarity.
