HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Ser Fierro founded the city of Sorana Ferrau sometime during the 400 Years of Darkness. He started the city and as a feed town. What he truly loved though, was his art and much of his work hangs in the Fierro Complex. And it’s his love of art that has remained a part of the city to this day, Sorana Ferrau is often hailed as the quirky artistic city and it’s the city where you are free to be you with little judgment. This attitude was brought about by Ser Fierro’s granddaughter Catalina Fierro. Catalina felt that out here in the Unknown Regions you should be free to be as weird and as goofy as you want. You might often see signs saying, “Keep Sorana Weird!” This is a call back to those days, the Fierro’s by no means were the only humans here and neither were they the only species.

Bith and Sullustans were also here, and the Fierro’s along with the original human founders of the city worked well with them. Their cohesive nature led to the city become a progressive, ‘bleeding-heart’ of Varada V. But as with everything here, being a weird bleeding heart just happens to go hand in hand with one another. And if one thought that the banner of the First Order would deter the city’s attitude, one would be mistaken. The First Order’s banner while it flies over the city, is about all it does, most of the city keeps itself in check with its own guards and security. Many here aren’t about causing trouble as they are about chasing a dream. And in some cases now that the First Order has arrived many of those dreams are now becoming reality.

Another excellent city sub. Couple of tiny points, just to help the reader get a better feel for the place:

  • Can I get more of a sense of the scale/scope of the alchemy guild? Alchemy can run from trinkets to superweapons to pets to kaiju.
  • Can you include a link to Victoria's starfighter academy when you mention it?
  • Can you specify what kind of rail system we're talking about? Repulsor, maglev, something else?
  • Imperial Shipworks - is this just a corporate space, or is there a surface shipyard facility here?
