Sonya Grace

Sonya Grace, WIP.
Sonya has always lived on Corellia. Her parents, both government officials, raised her in the capital -- between private schooling, tutoring, and anything else she could want, they spared no expense in shaping Sonya into the young woman they wanted her to be.
It was thus a massive shock to both of them when Sonya was nearly expelled from her high school for her low grades. She didn’t want to go to further schooling, didn’t feel the need to try hard -- for she knew where her passion and talents truly lay.
Whenever she was skipping class, she could reliably be found in a quiet room off the basement -- where the treasure trove of dusty instruments lay unused and unloved. Used in previous years by other students for… illicit activities, it was off limits to the general body. Nonetheless, Sonya easily picked the lock (well, easily after the first seventy tries) and spent more time in the music room than she did with her own parents. She taught herself most notably the violin, although she was certainly proficient on many of the others that could be found there.
Tensions with her family peaked when she refused the further studies they were to send her to. So, she left.
Touring the galaxy with her small band, it was difficult at first -- performances were scarce and payment was meager -- but as they gained in following and renown, it became easier. And Sonya never stopped loving every minute of it.
Strengths and Weaknesses

Sonya is, primarily, a musician. Her soft, lovely voice carries professionally and her violin playing is second to few.
Unassuming
Sonya’s short stature and quiet demeanor mean that, offstage, she can easily slip in and among crowds without attracting too much attention.
Charming
Her soft smile opens manybedroom doors. Humble and mature, few people are resistant to Sonya’s charms -- and those that are are jealous.

Sonya is, to put it lightly, rather unathletic. She avoids trouble, but were she in a position where she’d need to protect herself, she likely would be unable to.
Uneducated
It’s not that she isn’t smart, but rather, simply that she doesn’t care. Barely graduating high school, music was the only thing she was truly committed to.
