(+) Techie:: Ever since she was a child, Jacqui was fascinated with technology. It wasn't uncommon for her to spend her free time taking things apart and putting them back together. Doing this, she's gained expertise in technology, including how to maintain and craft things.
(+) Marksmanship: Jacqui's time with the Talravin Police Department taught her how to fire a blaster. She isn't an expert by any means, but she can handle herself in combat.
(+) Athlete: Jacqui takes pride in how in shape she is, though it takes quite a bit of work to maintain.
(-) Gullible: Jacqui sees the world in rather black and white terms: good versus evil. She assumes good people are nice, and evil people are mean. As such, she can rather easily tricked if she's not on her toes.

Biography
- Part I
Born on the Core World of Talravin, Jacqueline Leia Varos was born to a single mother. She never knew her father. All she knew of him was that he left before she was born, and her mother refused to talk about him. Jacqui resented her father for leaving, as her mother had to work extremely hard to put her through school.
But she put that education to good use. Any chance Jacqui had to learn something about technology, she took it. Fascinated by the inner workings of tech, Jacqui excelled in her math and science courses, spending all of her free time taking things apart and putting them back together again. During her teenage years, Jacqui became interested in piloting, as well. She also gained a reputation for standing up for others, frequently challenging bullies at her high school. This mentality was what made her decide that she wanted to help people.
At the age of eighteen standard years, Jacqui entered into Talravin Law Enforcement. She passed basic training with flying colors, and for two years, she served Talravin well.
But Jacqui found herself dissatisfied with the life of an officer.
Disgusted with the red tape keeping her from helping people, Jacqui left Talravin. Over the next year, Jacqui made a living as a freelance pilot, delivering things across the galaxy. But once again, she was dissatisfied, feeling like she wasn't doing enough.

That was the birth of Songbird.

Using the money she made from freelancing, Jacqui purchased blasters and other arms, and outfitted her Interceptor for combat. She was going to take the fight to the bullies, under the moniker of 'Songbird'. Some call her a vigilante. She prefers to call herself a dispenser of justice outside of the law.
