"Can we shut it down?"
They turned as the speaker hissed to life one more time."Then we fly it like a possessed speeder bike from hell and pray the brakes work."
"Queen of Flame… or Queen of Nothing."
He didn't like it."Bakura…"
"You alright?"
She gave Sommer one last look, and Kael saw it—the fear, but also the resolve."No. No turning back," she said, steel in her voice. "There's something waiting for us down there. But I think... I think it's not just danger. It's answers."
"You felt it too," he muttered.
"These readings don't make sense. There's no city here. No clear structure."
Below, a single signal flare pulsed in rhythmic succession — a landing beacon older than the Republic's current standard."But there's life," Alyssa murmured from behind, her Force senses flaring like whispers in her bones. "Something... waiting."
"You carry the Queen of Flame. And you, child of storms… you have begun to awaken."
"Who are you?"
"I am the Veiled One. A priestess of the Bakuric Threads, keeper of the final sanctuary built on the convergence. My sisters are gone. Burned out by the whispers your queen now hears."
"You seek extraction. Exorcism. But it is not Azis who entered her. It is what he left behind. A gift. A curse. A seed."
"You offering help… or riddles?"
"She must walk the Trinity Path... mind, flesh, and spirit. And you must be her anchor."
"Yes," the priestess said. "The bond you share is stronger than the fire within her. But it will be tested."
"How do we begin?" Alyssa asked, already stepping forward.
"Beyond the Ridge of Glass... is the Monastery. The Temple of Vey'tah. If she survives what awaits there… she may yet live. And if not—"
"Then your galaxy will perish."
"Bring her when she is ready."
"She's been like this for hours," he muttered. "And the dreams... they're not dreams anymore."
