Sometimes dancing helps

The vast field must have hold thousands and thousands of people. the Galactic Republic was at one of its darkest moments. the shadow had found its way into the heart of many of those who truly believed in the idea that was the republic. The strain caused much grief and sorrow.
Yet, there were still those who could see the hope in their hearts.
Mantic stepped up unto the nearby hill overlooking the massive festival that was being organised on the surface of the republic capital world of Chazwa.
there was food and drinks as well as entertainers and massive dance floors spread out over the entire area dedicated for the occasion. While the Galactic Republic could not afford the top quality the masses gathered were bringing something to the table extraordinaire.
The fields were lit up by what must be a myriad of lights and colors. The dome above consisted of a thousand of shining stars twinkling their way into the beat of the music.

To the right Mantic could see republic troopers unloading crates of food and supplies to help organize the party. They laughed...
They smiled and made jokes.
It gave off such a warm sensation that the stern jedi could not help but force himself to quell the possibility of a lone tear surfacing.
As he started to walk further into the ocean of people he could see it everywhere. There was still joy, love and dedication in the people of the republic. They had suffered for so long under the monstreous shadow that seemed to be closing in everywhere around them. Yet here they were, talking and planning for a tomorrow, as if it would be a better day.
A better tomorrow?
He barely felt her touch. the little girl taking his hand. Dressed in a light green small gown, her hair flying wild in the wind.
"Mister, why are you so serious?"
"I see the hope in your heart, don't pretend that it is not there mister." she continued with a smile.
Mantic opened and closed his mouth resembling a fish seeking words for an answer he could not present. A child's wisdom often superseded that of grown ups. Had he forgotten the simplest of facts?
She giggled.
"Well, mister, sometimes it helps to just dance..."
She tugged at his sleeve a few times. when he refused to follow suit she pulled harder and he found himself stumbling after her.
Reluctantly Mantic felt his right foot lift, followed by a second clumsy movement of his right one.
And off they went into the swirling masses to seek to refuel and find hope for whatever was in preparations of tomorrow.

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
This was Kay's first trip to Chazwa. She had arrived to the gathering via a shuttle transporting other delegates and Republic officers. Upon her arrival she focused on herself and shrunk her Force signature to that of a small tree nut, like she was taught. Who knows who she would spot here. Better to be safe than sorry.

Too many times at other gatherings she had felt as though she was overdressed when she had worn something pretty to make an impression. But right now she didn't feel as though she needed to impress anyone. She just had to relax and enjoy herself. So Kay was dressed in her usual attire, like an upper class merchant, her satchel ever present and slung over her shoulder with the strap across her body. She bowed her head to those that met her eyes. There was hardly anyone that she knew, which wasn't surprising as the Republic was home to many people.

One sight caught her eye and caused her to chuckle. And that was of [member="Mantic Dorn"] being dragged off to dance by a cute little girl. It was a sight to behold as the Jedi seemed quite reluctant. She smiled in amusement as she watched the two of them and waited to see how long it would take before Mantic would break out in a smile as well.

Found herself among other Republic officials and officers, transported by a shuttle issued to land in Chazwa. She herself was unfamiliar with the land, but joyous to arrive for the sake of the party attended by many, it would seem. Come her arrival, she could be seen wearing usual attire only a noble tier would bother adorning themselves with. Her golden earrings dangled by her side, a black and sleek dress with gold trimmings to match. She wasn't here to dance, but bathe in the positive energy and look pretty, like always. It wasn't long before she accepted a glass of wine, or something similar, merely toying with it as she walked around. "Well aren't you fancy, Miss Alicence." An unfamiliar whispered into her ear. "Why Yes, I am." She chuckled, walking off with no further acknowledgement offered. Her brow rose after sighting Lady Kay, her fingers laced tight around her glass to not spill it as she split through the crowds. She eased a hand onto Lady Kay's back, offering a gentle smile as she stood beside the woman. "Fancy meeting you here, Senator [member="Lady Kay"]." She glanced over towards Kay's source of interest, spotting [member="Mantic Dorn"] along with a child. The sight alone was more than enough for her to chuckle as she accepted the glass' contents.

Kay held her breath as she was touched, but then let it out slowly. She was just so preoccupied at watching [member="Mantic Dorn"] be uncomfortable that she didn't notice [member="Giovanni Alicence"] approach until she was touched. She smiled and bowed her head. "Yes, I know. I don't spend enough time in Republic space, so I'm here to put in a bit of effort on that part. And what better way to do that and to get to know more of the right people than to attend a party? I prefer these relaxed gatherings over meetings anyways. Don't you?"
