The vast field must have hold thousands and thousands of people. the Galactic Republic was at one of its darkest moments. the shadow had found its way into the heart of many of those who truly believed in the idea that was the republic. The strain caused much grief and sorrow.
Yet, there were still those who could see the hope in their hearts.
Mantic stepped up unto the nearby hill overlooking the massive festival that was being organised on the surface of the republic capital world of Chazwa.
there was food and drinks as well as entertainers and massive dance floors spread out over the entire area dedicated for the occasion. While the Galactic Republic could not afford the top quality the masses gathered were bringing something to the table extraordinaire.
The fields were lit up by what must be a myriad of lights and colors. The dome above consisted of a thousand of shining stars twinkling their way into the beat of the music.

To the right Mantic could see republic troopers unloading crates of food and supplies to help organize the party. They laughed...
They smiled and made jokes.
It gave off such a warm sensation that the stern jedi could not help but force himself to quell the possibility of a lone tear surfacing.
As he started to walk further into the ocean of people he could see it everywhere. There was still joy, love and dedication in the people of the republic. They had suffered for so long under the monstreous shadow that seemed to be closing in everywhere around them. Yet here they were, talking and planning for a tomorrow, as if it would be a better day.
A better tomorrow?
He barely felt her touch. the little girl taking his hand. Dressed in a light green small gown, her hair flying wild in the wind.
"Mister, why are you so serious?"
"I see the hope in your heart, don't pretend that it is not there mister." she continued with a smile.
Mantic opened and closed his mouth resembling a fish seeking words for an answer he could not present. A child's wisdom often superseded that of grown ups. Had he forgotten the simplest of facts?
She giggled.
"Well, mister, sometimes it helps to just dance..."
She tugged at his sleeve a few times. when he refused to follow suit she pulled harder and he found himself stumbling after her.
Reluctantly Mantic felt his right foot lift, followed by a second clumsy movement of his right one.
And off they went into the swirling masses to seek to refuel and find hope for whatever was in preparations of tomorrow.
