Some Holiday, Am I Right? (Silver Jedi Dominion of Vaynai)

[member="Saki"]

Iella moved to the edge of the hole in the floor and sighed. She had to jedi jump which is one thing Iella failed at. Oh she can do them, but they always end badly. Oh well, nothing for it but to try yet again. She took in a deep breath, summon the force around her and jumped down. Immediately the darkness surrounded her but she could sense the floor of the tunnel approaching. Once more she tried to cushion the jump .. this time, she held herself suspended in the air meters high.

Only one thing to do and she removed the cushion and fell crumbling to the floor. Iella stood immediately before Saki and her padawan came down ... good they did not see. Her blade ignited once more she waited for them to arrive.

Saki

Came in like a wrecking maul

The padawan and Saki both jumped down with the cushion of force energy coming for the padawan as the snap hiss of the training blade came, Saki elected to drop down and make a small impact while she stood up. Iella had a good idea and now chasing after the hutt while her head flicked back and forth using the illumination from the blade to light the area. "Come on, the hutt shouldn't have gotten very far." The padawan was moving and pushing towards the center as her blade lit up the area to give the two masters light.

Standing atop the cliff, Connor grinned and clapped slowly and loudly enough for [member="Matsu Ike"] and [member="Jeela Tillian "]to hear. He watched and gave a mock salute to them.

"I'll get a transport down for you! Nice work."

Turning back, he nodded to [member="Shalla Horizonis"] watching him and signalled for her to try and find a transport for two down where the Jedi were. Walking back across the battle zone, his smile faded as he noticed the solitary figure of [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] cradling a fallen soldier back down the beach.

He stopped in his tracks and debated or not whether to go over and console the man in his time of pain, but something made him stop in his tracks. Sometimes you needed that moment alone after such an event for your own sanity.

Some holiday this turned out to be.

Closing his eyes, he just hoped his other Sisters in the Order were using their strength to get out of their conflicts alive.

Rasu Gan said:
Her vision burned. Her mind gave in to the pain. Each step was a struggle, but still the Jedi pushed on, latching onto the presence of the lone Dellatian that awaited her. The past few hours spent on the resort-like planet had left the Shi'ido drained and exhausted, failing to find the energy needed to continue on her journey. Rasu's arms now drooped beside her, as her legs shuffled along the hard surface, surprised that her body had not buckled and collapsed. Honestly the figure that now trundled across the small island, was unbecoming of a Jedi Master, yet here she was, a rare sight indeed.

Her mind had been opened long ago, with the woman no longer being able to shut herself off from the chaos that now enveloped the world. Pain, agony and suffering filled the Shi'ido's brain, and soul, bonding with her until she became a conduit of the planets negativity. The suffering that she had been protected from for so long, now rushed upon her like a raging river, and she was completely helpless, powerless to stop or shield herself. Rasu could not help but laugh at her current predicament, there was nothing left but to be cheerful. How foolish she must look, how the mighty have fallen.

She smiled. A weak, almost heart-breaking smile, before staggering. Immediately her heart leaped in panic, preparing herself for the collision, however it never came. Her body had yet to fail her. Embedding herself with steely resolve, Rasu continued onwards, closing in on the location of the young Dellatian until finally at last, his lanky form came into view. Stretching out towards him with her emerald palm, she called out his name, however found her voice dry and raspy, lacking the strength and volume to carry her words to the Padawan. Instead, she stretched out through the Force, brushing past the beings consciousness with her own, making [member="Gurbot Luk"] aware of her presence, before she finally welcomed the growing darkness, and gave into her exhaustion. Slowly but surely she slipped out of consciousness.

Gurbot looked on helplessly as his master's slight form, obviously weak and no doubt on the verge of virtual shutdown collapsed into a wheezing pile before a completely miserable display that brought great dismay to the giants mind and heart. Even for the short time that Gurbot had spent with his master, she had still touched him so deeply so as to leave an everlasting impression and the mere thought of losing her now clouded his spent mind, silently Gurbot was throwing a fit within himself, he could sense pangs of anguish and anger- emotions he had never had the displeasure or good graces to ever experience at such great lengths. Gurbot swam to his master in the hopes of bringing on partial relief even though deep down that it may be to no avail seeing as they were so far from the nearest Silver Jedi healers or medical ships to aid his master, still Gurbot thought he at least ought to try. A master Jedi of the caliber of [member="Rasu Gan"] would not let the paltry advances and affronts displayed by maladies of the flesh do her in surely not, but on her own terms. Gurbot cradled the master Jedi in his flipper like arms, gently placing her on his gangly but sturdy neck racing for the nearest facilities-He called out through the force to master [member="Iella E'ron"] "Master Gan is in dire straights and she needs medical attention post-haste or it may well be the time of her reaching her final eternity and rest, I am doing the best I can imbuing her with as much force as I can muster to heal her, but it is only keeping her breathing and a pulse going- I'm on the way with her to your location."
