Some Enchanted Evening (Alderaan Nobles, honored guests, pm for invite)

Event: Royal Ball
Location: The Royal Palace, Alderaan
Faith tugged again at the dress that Claire was trying to fit to her. Her cousin the perfectionst was becoming an annoyance, though Faith loved her dearly her technique reminded her too much of herself.

"Claire this just feels funny" The material felt odd and Faith wanted to itch, "Claire really, maybe Alyesa, mother or yourself would prefer this gown."

Claire huffed for a moment, "Faith it is the first official ball being held on Alderaan in years, the nobles are assembling there is an expectation I am sure of what you will look like, what you will all look like. So stop fussing at me and stand still."

She wanted to cringe, "umhmm"

"it fits too tight I can't breathe let alone move" She knew complaining wouldn't help in the end she would lose.

An hour later Faith stood before the mirror in the floor length gown , "Goddess help us if I fall" She looked over to Claire. Faith's hair was swept up, and only a tiny circlet rested upon her head. Tonight she was Princess Faith. It was going to be a long night.

"You're beautiful" Claire smiled,.

"Ok, well you go get ready cousin, and I will go check the ball room." Faith moved slowly through the grand halls of the palace it still didn't feel like home it felt hollow and echoed in places.

Captain Lindsey, Captain of the Aldera Guard waited and gave Faith a bow. "Guests will be arrive in half hour Princess, guards are posted. The Palace is secure."

"Thank you, this ball tonight is important to the family we want to greet all the families that have returned to Alderaan and offer what help we can to them to get them on their feet here, so be ever mindful Captain."

Faith walked towards the entrance to the ball room taking a deep breathe she stepped inside it was a beautiful room colors of gold orange and yellow filled it, the candles lit low, and the orchestra on the patio so the music would filter in. Off to the right food and drink. Placed carefully everywhere were the flowers of Alderaan, the gentle scent was only suggested within the room.

"Well, we need only wait for the guests." She tugged again at the gown as she headed back she signaled the orchestra to play, and Captain Lindsey to open the gates.

I hope I didn't miss anybody

She had spent most of the morning and early afternoon listening to her mother lecture her about going out to the ball. Adelaide had received the invitation from House Organa, and had immediately dropped it onto the table, where she had planned to ignore it completely. It wasn’t anything against the Royal House, but she wasn’t quite sure she was feeling up to all of the excitement of a fancy party. However, after much chiding from mother, she had agreed to make an appearance with [member="Andulf Nicholas Teraan"]. As mother put it, this would be the perfect opportunity for others to see that their house was on the upswing. Adelaide had been swept into her room and her maid set to work making her presentable for their noble company.

It wasn’t out of the ordinary for Adelaide to dread going to social events, but tonight it was an especially daunting task for the Countess of House Teraan. For tonight she stepped out for the first time since her husband, Elijah, had passed away. In the last few years she had come to rely heavily upon Eli during such gatherings, as he had always been the charming one and speaking to others had come easily to him. As their transport arrived at the palace, she felt a sense of dread gathering in the pit of her stomach. Even though she was accompanied by her twin brother and her guard ( [SIZE=11pt][member="Ja'rrod"][/SIZE][SIZE=11pt] )[/SIZE], she couldn’t help but notice that she still felt very much alone. She was missing the lightness of Eli’s presence, and it dawned on her that he was lost from her world. Adelaide closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to push the sadness away; it would not do her any favors to make a scene. It was time to focus on moving forward, as was evident by the gown that she had chosen to wear for the evening. This marked the end of her mourning period, and she would no longer be limited to the dark and subdued colors that symbolized her grief. Even though she had been getting used to wearing black so often, she had even begun to like it.

“We’ve arrived.” She said simply to her twin, trying to offer him a small smile. “Shall we go in?”

The countess was the image of grace, and her movements were light upon the ground as she entered the ballroom. She hoped that the return of her brother would distract from the fact that she was now a widow, and that if she smiled, maybe she could hide some of the sadness within. Perhaps this evening was just what she needed, a break from her depression... after all, it would be waiting for her when she returned home.

It seem he'd haven't been home long when the invitation came and his Mother came to him. Take moment to well update him on such matter as house affairs and current news as it were customary between them. Whenever the two got chance to talk even when he was away. She would send or set time for them to speak even if it was just thru holo-vid or secure com. At which time as the two talk and as the did so that the issue of now that he was home and of age. That it was about time for him look into settling down as given the fact his sister had been widowed much too soon before any child was to be born. And with recent events that had unfolded it was his duty more than ever to do his part in ensuring. That their great house was to continue on well before she herself passed eventually. At any rate thought he was bit sadden about the latter part her words....he knew no less it was if anything way things were. And with a nod eventually agreed go.

Some time later....

Theo-James-GQ-04Apr13_pa_b_240x360.jpg

It was seem soon enough that since his return he had to take upon himself the title of Count for House Teraan. Now that he was home and alongside his sister the Countess the two made their way towards the ball. With no less Captain Ja'rrod Cateraen watching over as it seem from what he was told being the close confidant of his late brother-in-law. He was and had been all but loyal to their house despite his former association with one their most likely favored house Baliss. At any rate with all the talk or rumor that abound since his passing. He no less had thought reservation of the man figured to trust him if only for respect for Elijah memory.

“We’ve arrived.”

She soon came speak as soon they near the ball and the shuttle slowly came to a stop. And he in turn with smile replied back.

"Guess so sister...."

To which she return back to speak as she seem sense his slight hesitation of having to go but then. Given the close connection between the two twin she no less seem know when or what say.

“Shall we go in?”

To which he without words simply gave her slight nod in agreement. Just as he then extends a hand to her and upon take her hand help her up .As soon enough as the shuttle door open and they exited onto the main entrance to the ball. With Aldi reach over to escort his sister in and let Capt. Ja'rrod follow close behind. Providing thou it seem unnecessary given the good size number of security already present. To serve as her personal guard for the evening and maybe as it seem proved be. A safe and trusted companion to watch over her for most of he time he had be off. Having do his official duty as Count and interact....mingle or simply be a show of presence to all. That despite whatever had transpire of late between the houses and trouble foreign or domestic to their shores brought by the republic. All those present showed their unit and support to the then current royal regent and their house.

And soon after brief time off he return her side as hand in hand the twin approach one the members of the current Royal house Faith Balor-Organa who after addressing her with a respectful bow.

It was then seem no sooner had his request for a transfer came thru that the invitation to the ball came. And with it as it would seem Ja'rrod first assignment . Of which he was to escort and be on shadow duties guarding the just recently widow Countess and wife of his close friend. To which with great earnest and respect to his departed friend Count Elijiah he proceed suit up in a more subtle formal suit rather than his usual armor. At any rate keep silent and make sure to concentrate on the task at hand of providing protective detail to Countess [member="Adelaide Teraan"].

Thought at best it seem at times hard as look to gaze at her up close rather than from a distance like before. He could help realize how lucky Elijiah was in meeting her and all the more solidify his intent to keep his word...his oath to him to see her safety no matter what,

Claire was not yet accustomed to wearing a formal gown for a formal occasion. This was a gown she chose from herself bright red simple except for the skirting which had a flair of design to it. She hoped that by dressing her cousins she would garner other business from the Noble Houses.

She had put out an invitation for her rescuer from Balmorra to attend if he was so inclined, she did not know if he would from what Faith had tried to explain to her many times was the differences in culture and that this was not typically the type of gathering that Clans attended. Claire was trying to think of ways to thank him. Perhaps this was not the best way.

She stood though inside the doors of the Grand Ballroom watching the nobles arrive she never knew there were so many Houses, or that there was so much formality to be observed. She heard the Page announce members from House Teraan. The blue suit was well cut and fit and suited this occasion, his counterpart was equally framed and fitted, a perfect pair.

She smiled watching Faith move about, now where was [member="Alyesa Organa"] and the Queen. Still deciding upon whether her choices were suitable, or going with their own.

Faith smiled and nodded, "Welcome so glad that you could come" She looked at the members of House Teraan, "Are you finding everything you need here on Alderaan?" She knew that many had returned and were rebuilding their homes, their personal protection units, and bartering for services. "If there is anything you need we can find traders, and corporations for you to speak with"

It was surprising at how many companies still flocked to Alderaan trying to get contracts to provide goods and services. It was her duty to help, but in truth Faith just wanted to help them all as much as she could. Their success would be the success of Alderaan, and that was what everyone who was coming home wanted.

Alexander brought his eyes up the spires that he walked by and over the grounds of the home. He had to admit, even this marveled him after all the times hes been around mansions and state buildings. "I have to admit, thousands of years does well for a family..." He smiled to himself as he started forward once more and drew his eyes around at other guests and as he did a inch of familiarity hit him with but a single face. It seemed lady faith had done well enough in gathering this small ball of hers and he had to applaud her mentally and made sure to mark a note in his mind about talking to her later.

For now though he looked for something to drink as the suit he wore remained tight around his neck at the collar. He hated suits sometimes and trying to get more air into his throat right now was like trying to force a bantha to water... ok maybe not that hard but he was annoyed by it none the less. Thankfully it didn't take him long to find a drink for him to take ahold of and slowly down, letting his mind clear a bit as he stood there and looked around once more. He easily saw [member="Claire Organa"], a woman he did not recognize yet figured was important by how she held herself.

Then his eyes reached that of [member="Andulf Nicholas Teraan"] and @Ja'rrod, curious ones he was not quite as familiar with when it came to people of note. That was to be expected though and Alexander knew as much, as far as he was concerned his even being here was probably not the most welcome but he had received an invitation and to deny it would be rather rude of him.

The Royal Palace of Aldeeran, one of the most important places/buildings in all of Aldeeran. Throughout its history, those that lead Aldeeran lived in the Royal Palace. The Organa Noble House had earned their place as the leaders of Aldeeran. Unfortunately, some, like House Thul wanted/used to want to take it over by force. One thing was important to Velos though; House Rist would support the Organas.

Despite House Rist's backing, Velos knew that House Rist weren't important. They were only known for their impressive assassination skills. The Count of House Rist however wanted to make the House more notable in Aldeeran's affairs, not in order to gain power, just to show that it to cared about Aldeeran. That was one of the reasons he had signed up to be part of the Royal Naval Force; his time there was invaluable, having allowed him to learn about naval tactics, as well as it changing him, and realizing that he wanted to make Aldeeran more powerful, for the betterment of its peoples, as well as in terms of defense.

Velos' starfighter came out of hyperspace, its transponder codes having been sent to the fleet that guarded Aldeeran in order for them to know that he was not hostile. As he approached Aldeeran's gravity well, his ship descended to the hangar that was near the Royal Palace. He landed his starfighter inside the hangar, and soon went to the Royal Palace, the Ephicanthix and military veteran somewhat curious as how good he would do representing House Rist as its leader.

Soon, the Count of House Rist arrived at the palace, where he so [member="Faith Balor-Organa"]. "Your highness." he respectfully stated, dressed in a suit that covered him. "It is an honor to meet you." After that, he proceeded to conduct a brief bow. He somewhat felt uneasy, mostly because he didn't have any weapons with him. Maybe it was because of his past as a member of the military? Or perhaps it was because of the tension between Aldeeran and the withering Republic. Truthfully, Velos didn't know, but the weapons had become a part of him. Don't get nervous the Count thought, as he smiled.

At such time soon came a response from Faith.

" Welcome so glad that you could come. "

To which as her gaze turn look at both them over that with charming smile on his face and slight glance over at her sister that he replied.

" In behalf of House Teraan we would like to extend our gratitude and thanks Princess Faith Balor- Organa. And our mother would like to extend her regret of not being able to attend. As it seem with recent events that had unfolded since I've been away much is and will be need to rebuild .Which... "

At which time passingly exchanging glances about he then adds.

"....and so it seem with much of the major along with minor Houses in attendance. Most of whom i seem have yet meet with and reacquainted in regards to some the project needing be tended be taken care soon enough...."

At which time Faith then came reply back.

" If there is anything you need we can find traders, and corporations for you to speak with."

He then with a respectful nod then adds.

" That we will and do appreciate as well thank you Princess Faith Organa for your hospitality in set up this ball.....we would hope to have the opportunity speak with you in regard to matters now concerning Alderaan..."

He then turn to his sister briefly.....as if to check up on her and maybe give her chance speak if she so choose to in the conversation.

A small shuttle flittered itself downward at the landing pad of the Royal Place, bearing the markings of House Frayus. A man stepped out of the vehicle, dressed in a rather extravagant uniform. On him was only a dapper black cane, with a chromium plated handle in the shape of a dragon’s head. He walked his way up to the palace, accompanied by only a meager escort of personal guardsmen. He was none another Valin Frayus, the current Duke of Frayus after his family experienced a terrible accident a few years ago.

He was somewhat hard to look at. The right side of his face was riddled with burn scars that had long since healed, deforming what was once a handsomely youthful face. Otherwise, he had an air of confidence around him. A Knight-Errant of the Order of the Righteous Flame, it was nothing that he kept secret. From his experience at the hands of both Jedi and Sith, who could blame him? A lost family, and irrepariable damage to his body that still brings him pain were it not for his occasional medication.

Once the intial pat down was done, he walked himself in and gave a gracious bow. “Your Majesty.” He said, addressing the Queen, “Valin, Duke of House Frayus. I don’t think
we have official met. My House sends its regards with allowing us to rebuild on our ancestral land.” He gave a gentle nod to the other nobles of Alderaan before moving himself about the floor of the gala, doing his best to be sociable. Even though he was mostly met by bewildered eyes at his obvious deformity. Thusly, he decided to pour himself a glass of water and retrieve a pillbox hid away in his breast pocket, swallowing a little white tablet. Such was it to keep the pain away.

"This is demeaning." Jonathan commented, brushing the glitter off his suit. Bloody stuff got everywhere. He wasn't sure why she had done it, but the damage was done. He'd probably sparkle for the rest of the night.

"Sorry." His sister looked down. The little girl was young, and didn't entirely understand the nuances of politics yet. To her, the ball was a big party, and she wanted to have fun. Hence, the glitter bomb in the limo. But to Jonathan and his father, this was something bigger. The bomb had missed his father, and seemed to only have affected Jonathan. Of course

He gave his sister a little smile. "Don't worry. I'm sure they'll love it." Stepping into the limo, he slid next to his younger brother as the door slid shut. "Next time, you're clearing the car first."

His brother smiled. "Hey, at least you'll get some pity points." Pausing for a moment, he sighed. "Do you think House Cortess will be there?"

"I don't know. They belonged to House Thul, but after the Civil war.... who knows. I hope so. I was hoping to talk to Lord Damion about a Phrik mine deal."

"If you think Cortess will just give up a mine to us, you're sorely mistaken." His father scolded, climbing in front of them. "It's their livelihood."

"They weren't going to give it to us, Father. Damion was buying a mine from his uncle, and wanted some extra funds. In return for supplying the extra capitol, our names go on the deed and we get a share of the profits, as well as use of the supply should the need arise."

"So why didn't you tell me this earlier?" Baron Baliss asked, a mix of anger and pride in his voice.

"It was going to be a surprise for your birthday." That wasn't entirely true. Jonathan had planned to make a tidy sum off the mine before his father even knew about the mine. The extra funding could come into use soon. But now all of that was out the window.

"Does Baron Cortess know about our involvement?"

"He does not as of yet. We were planning to approach him on it tonight."

"I see. You seem to have a plan for tonight then. I guess I'll leave you to it." And with that, their father slipped to where the rest of the family sat. Jonathan stared out the window, watching the world go by.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stepping onto the grounds of the Organa estate for the first time, Jonathan immediately felt a sense of wonder. The palace was huge, and certainly more impressive than the estates he had visited. He turned to watch his brother, who gaped openly at the sight. "An awed diplomat is already half won over." He whispered, and his brother nodded. As their father joined them, the three of them entered into the room. He watched his father make a beeline for Duke Ulgo. He sighed. So focused on his own agendas, he had forgotten formalities. Jonathan gave a deep bow to the queen. "Your Majesty. Forgive my father's behavior, it would seem age is getting the better of him." To be honest, he wasn't sure why his father had forgotten. But the Heir to the barony would be sure that tradition was upheld. "House Bariss is at your service." If the Queen dismissed him, he would move to find Lord Damion. If not, he would be ready.

Gray was going to Alderaan. He was heading there because the Organa family was hosting a Royal Ball. How did he get invited to such a nice event? Well he is a Raxis and his clan had had some dealings with house Organa. He had been unable to attend the meeting the two families had in the past, because he was busy getting shot at by pirates at the time, but he made sure he had time for this one. He had also heard some rumors about some recent political tension between the Mandalorians and the people of Alderaan. Or was it with the Republic? It was hard to keep up with all of the political events going on when all you have to go off of is the rumors you got while doing dangerous missions. He had recently visited the planet before when he visited the force temple of the planet. His father's side of the family had roots on the planet as well, so he was glad to see what things were like here on this planet.

Gray was on his ship as he double checked to make sure he looked presentable. It was a very fancy and formal event. The people would be refined, even though he wasn't exactly what you would call refined himself. He kept messing with his clothing until he was satisfied with how he looked. He wasn't sure what was presentable and what wasn't right now. It was just so hard because he was not use to these kinds of things. He eventually got satisfied enough and headed towards the party.

Gray walked through the gate and into the Ball room. He was wearing a fine gray suit with a dark blue vest and dark blue tie. He had on nice black dress shoes on and his light saber was hung to his right leg. He knew he wasn't going to need it, but the humming little crystal wouldn't have liked it if he left it behind. He looked around the place and noticed there were already several guests dressed in fine clothing already present. He hoped he didn't make a fool of himself or of anyone else while he was here. Better to not cause a scene when you were in unfamiliar territory.

Draco walked through the doors to the ballroom and surveyed the situation. He liked to view social politics like a battlefield, it put it in the proper perspective for him to understand. He remembered his time as a nobleman of Bothawui. While Draco himself didn't bother participating in politics and the social events that revolved around them, but he heard about them. He had maintained control when he did because he was the Foreman, and most planets under his influence were happy to placate him rather than worry about what else could happen. Being on his good side at the time had numerous benefits.

Draco noticed a few familiar faces, reminding him why he was here in the first place. He was offering support, quietly and subtly, and in more ways than the obvious. He quietly adjusted his cuff-links on his suit and began making his way down the steps with a rela, holding his head high with a fresh shave and his hair kept up for tonight. In fact, for once he didn't look like a barbarian warlord, but looked like a proper aristocrat befitting someone his wealth and influence throughout the galaxy. Naturally he always carried at least one weapon, and had a Fett-Kal knife sheathed on the inside of his jacket. The Force pulsed and his mind's eye could see the intricate web of energy connecting all the occupants. He was a bit late, but he had never intended to suffer through the whole night unless she asked him too.

He made his way down the steps into the ballroom and began making his way through the people. He knew he had to mingle a little, and that he was required to be spoken to and answer in situations like this, but that didn't mean he had to enjoy it. Currently he was commanding the Mandalorian forces protecting and securing the planet, and so he had to keep up certain appearances, and he also had to answer to the members of the Royal House of Organa, and preserve their rule.

As so it was while he stood quietly and incognito in the background as he figured should. Not that it matter much to him being that for what its worth. Ja'rrod didn't consider himself by any means a noble but at best a soldier thought abet caught in a somewhat strange situation where in. Having come from a family with long standing service to House Baliss and son to their former House Captain it would seem out of place. For him be here now holding such a rank of Captain of House guard of quite different one....such that of House Teraan. Thought however much one wanted to fate seem was as elusive as it was willful in choice of path it dealt out rather than in.

But such was the case at any rate from his vantage point thought it seem best he could deduce. The place was pretty much secured as was security seem all that tight as it was. That his service was if anything unnecessary at this point yet as things are. This was as best he could fathom nothing less than a milk run duty...yet deep inside keep to his word to the countess departed husband and his brother in arms......friend. He kept to his word and watch over his widow with utmost care as well seriousness.

That if but moment with his attention focused on her as he accompanied her. While his brother the current Count apparent heir until things were finally finalized later on. Made off to mingle and do his duty while did his. Keeping watch and come in to escort her thru the crowd as time required him so.

Thought for a moment as he gazed out soon as the twins came together and had been addressing the current princess Organa. That from the sideline he overhears the arrival of one the other house....that of house Baliss. His former house that he'd couldn't help glance over briefly and noted one approach. As did another that came from the side whom as his protocol training kick in he insisted to personally preform a security pat down. Much to the individuals chagrin before letting him come any closer to the twin Teraan's which for moment made him miss the other from House Baliss. Who come in and spoke with the Princess Organa as did the other whom he learns from his own introduction. As Valin, Duke of House Frayus while the other was indeed from House Baliss but who he had yet to learn.

Adelaide had offered a small smile to Faith, and bowed gracefully with respect to the princess. As she rose, she remained silent for now, merely taking in her surroundings. She felt comfortable leaving Andulf to do most of the talking, and she listened as he addressed Faith, nodding every now and then to show that she was listening intently. When her brother had finished speaking, and send a look her way, she knew instantly that he was leaving the gap in conversation open for her.

“Yes, thank you, Princess.” Adelaide said simply, her tone on the friendly but slightly distracted.

She had noticed that other guests had started to arrive, and her dark brown gaze drifted towards the entrance. Adelaide watched as members of House Rist and House Frayus had come to present themselves before Faith. Her glance happened to linger on Duke Frayus for a moment or two, noticing the scars on his face, but she looked away lest she should make him feel uncomfortable. She hadn’t been trying to be rude, but was merely thinking that he would be an interesting subject to paint. Everyone had their own scars, and she had many on the inside, she didn’t know which was worse.

Adelaide nodded a greeting to both men and then turned to her brother.

“I’m going to get something to drink.” She said quietly to him, and then turned to the others. “If you will excuse me.”

The countess then turned and made her way for the refreshment table.

The Ephicanthix Count looked around, and so various Counts and Countesses talking to each other, each of them mingling. From what he understood, they most likely wanted Aldeeran to return back to its former glory. There were some among the Aldeerian Nobles that were much more militaristic, and supported more violence. While Velos wasn't someone that liked to use diplomacy, unless it was needed, he did somewhat agree with their views.

"Perhaps I'll join you [member="Adelaide Teraan"]. " Velos stated, following the Countess of House Teraan to the refreshments table. He cautiously examined the guards, as well as the nobles, making sure that he was ready for the most subtle of attacks. Even in gatherings, Velus always had his military training take over his mind, and make him overly cautious. Over the years however, he had been able to mask it pretty well, but he had always planned on getting it treated.

"So.. " he stated respectfully, trying to create a conversation. "What do you think of the recent situation in Aldeeran?"

One of the things Faith had Ana for to help her remember names, help her remember appointments and tonight her first duty would be to remember titles to go with names.

Count[member="Velos Rist"], it is very good to see you, Welcome” House Rist the ones that had killed her Grandparents, but its current members were not to blame, no. She smiled. “The honor sir is mine to have so many return home or even to have stayed and survived so much. If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know” She nodded.

Faith remembered she was also speaking with Count [member="Andulf Nicholas Teraan"], turning for a moment to him, “I’m sorry your mother could not attend, grand balls such as these do not happen enough and to miss one is like missing Life Day Celebrations. All pomp circumstance, food and wine for a single night. Perhaps there will be cause for another one in the future and she can come to that one.”

Faith heard a voice one she turned “Duke [member="Valin Frayus"], I am Princess Faith. My mother will be making her appearance later. We are honored that you would come, are you settling in alright, how are your lands?” She had not been able to check on Frayus lands yet. Perhaps she needed to arrange a visit to House Frayus.

The group was growing around Faith she had not received so much attention since her first day in the Senate.

House Baliss, ok, she was trying to recall the name, [member="Jonathan Baliss"], but what title was he if he was heir to the Baron’s title that made him. “Sir Jonathan Baliss welcome.” Faith’s gaze watched the Baron walk towards House Ulgo, for some reason she wondered would [member="Adelram Thul"] be coming, had he decided to take on the title of Duke of House Thul after his help, or perhaps as rumored he sought to marry the Panteer wench Ana Fa’leen to take on the title of Duke over House Panteer or would he rebuild his House on the pile of rubble that was left of the Fortress built by [member="Elaine Thul"]. She did not know she had not asked yet. One royal decree would take care of that, and then the fireworks would start.

Not to worry Sir Baliss, I am accustomed to the behavior of many of our elders, House relations often take precedence over gatherings of this nature” But it was a bit of an insult one that she would not hold against him.

That was unlike her to do so.

There were others that had come in but had not yet approached Faith such a man who was not a member of nobility, but in time would make his way over.

One figure did catch her eye as he moved through the doors a very fine well-built gorgeous man who made her heart skip. But she did not react out worldly she swallowed hard and then looked away not wanting to give away her attraction to the Knight-Errant of Aldera [member="Draco Vereen"].

The voice of Countess [member="Adelaide Teraan"] drew her back, “You are welcome I hope we get to chat again soon this evening as soon as all the introductions have dropped down.” She nodded as she walked away, a widow like herself Faith knew they had much in common.

Count Rist perhaps sensing something also decided to move off, “Thank you Count Rist” She would have Ana make a list and begin official visits.
Now few remained. Faith smiled.

It was then after all was said and done that with great care along with digression. Ja'rrod had made sure not let the minor slip up of earlier be repeated as he then turn his attention back to Countess Adelaide. Who having ask and made her leave of the group then head off towards the refreshment table. And was seem soon followed close by one the others who a best. Recall back much the intel he'd gather to study and commit to memory before the trip that. It was been Count Velos Rist of one the other house of Alderaan that was in attendance.

Which by any rate given his order and protocol he made sure keep an eye on. As he silently yet carefully followed behind the Countess. Make sure to at best make his presence as discreet as it was invisible as to not intrude on her space thought at same time. Being mindful of his oath to her late Count husband he made sure be focused on being there make personally sure of her safety at all times.

It was then wit seem few more come in to join in as the conversation wore on soon after that it took while. For Princess Faith Balor-Organa to return reply back to him.

“I’m sorry your mother could not attend, grand balls such as these do not happen enough and to miss one is like missing Life Day Celebrations. All pomp circumstance, food and wine for a single night. Perhaps there will be cause for another one in the future and she can come to that one.”

To which with a graceful nod he continued on reply.

"That would it would hopefully so as if anything i can't recall a day when she use to speak of such time. Specially of the ones held once before in the past where she and our father the late count use to be in attendance of. But just the same it is so good see you again your highness princess Organa."

With that said he then note to turn his attention to one in particular that approach. That of the one from House Baliss who for what its worth had have a slightly rocky relation and standing with their family. But then again with his time away having been exposed now to the world outside four corners of their House. He no less felt to give him the benefit of the doubt although old history still were there. He no less kept to his decorum and be civil about his approach. None the less he was not his father and wanted show that if anything he was his own man.

At which time with her sister then take her leave he then made sure to signal Ja'rrod to stay close to her. As he turn to then face back to Faith and give her respectful bow before ask his leave of her as he then began move thru the crowd .

"I don't recommend it, but I would not advise against it either," A small mechanical voice spoke up as it's body struggled to keep up to long strolls forward down a series of corridors, following the instructions she was given, hours ago. It wasn't like the forests, or the villages for that matter - young senator Wrrlykam truly felt lost. "my word!" The voice sounded again from behind her. The purple and gold painted droid rushed forward in unstable and patched together steps as it's mechanical yellow hues landed to the entrance of the ball room - the one they should have arrived at hours ago. "Perhaps wondering aimlessly did more good than my calculations suggested!"

There was a moment of silence - a small triumph for the young Wookiee as she made her way forward into the small meeting of high classed peoples. Large steps padded with only the dragging of her leathery soles made their way into the room as her translating droid stood close to her side. Her form wasn't in the best form for presenting, but out of a million arguments and few mechanical limbs being ripped off and repaired, the Wookiee settled on wearing a simple red dress that loosely fell to her side, supported on only one shoulder. A few jewels found their way in her upper mess of hair, making it's way into the contrast of red, brown, and blue.

This was settling for her. Finally, people who she could have intelligent conversations with. It was just a matter of overcoming shyness and leaping forward into the world of social interaction.
