Corporation Name: Sol's Metalworks
Headquarters: The Tarnished Bucket
Locations: Not Applicable: moving workshop.
Operations: The production of small unique items, such as refurbished blasters, alongside minor starship repairs and smuggling runs.
Rationale: Made out of necessity following Kyra's self-exile from her former crew-mates, this was built up from the knowledge she had acquired over the years working with her mentor Thran and is literally run from her ship, the Tarnished Bucket.
Tier: Tier I
Description: Kyra is a deft hand with regards to acquiring junk materials, specifically durasteel, and refurbishing them into a working item. While she cannot replicate any of her own work, owing to the haphazard use-what-you-find nature of the 'business', she finds it to be all part of the fun. Viewing it as almost an art form, she puts her heart and soul into each rusty creation she makes. Many of the items look as though they oughtn't be functioning, but aesthetics were never her strong point nor her focus and each of the successful items she's made over the years have worked well enough.
Alongside this comes the minor role of fixing up starships, although it is not her focus nor her passion - simply something she has a knack for. She's not exactly the fastest of repairers, owing to the fact that she salvages 90% of what she uses, but for those who need to lay-low and off the radar it's usually worth the extra time. Finally we have the more legally ambiguous act of performing smuggling goods across the Galaxy; an affiliate to no specific 'Faction', she performs all manner of runs without bias or favouritism. She may be no Han Solo, but she's good enough.
