DESCRIPTION
A relatively affordable shuttle for commuting and short duration trips as an entry-level ship for well-off and corporate travelers. The controls are simple but responsive to those with greater piloting skill offering an enjoyable flight experience. The commuter version follows a similar open interior layout as the H-2 class the design is loosely based upon with first-class seating for six passengers and a pilot with a day head and a small galley/wet bar to the ship’s aft.
The cabin cruiser model replaces these with a room for two, featuring an comfortable head with separate shower. The galley is moved forward, which along with a dinette, replaces most of the seating. This variant is meant for longer cruising and overnight trips. Of course, those interested can opt for a completely custom interior or from a variety of finishes and color schemes.
All versions enjoy a finely tuned 0.9 class hyperdrive and matching sub-light speed giving the little ships deceptive range and ensuring one is never late for a meeting or day at the beach. To protect passengers, the Sojourner’s carry a Force Avenger shield with powerful defenses against not just energy and kinetic weaponry, but also ion cannons which makes the shuttle very difficult for attackers to pin down. A single retractable laser turret is the only standard weapon. Located ventrally, it is fully traversable even while landed for an impressive field of defensive fire while not raising any concerns over a peaceful ship being armed.
