- Accessibility: The area surrounding the mine is completely restricted, all civilians are asked to not cross the fence. Any guests are thoroughly checked. The amount of Ostrine mined from this facility can drastically affect at least 5% of Hargeeva's economy.
- Security: Because of the amount of ore mined, local police forces has been assigned in the protection of Sohn OST-01. Three DBY-827 heavy turbolaser turrets is placed at strategic points. About 20 guards patrol and keep order in the mine. 15 Vulture Droids is occasionally on, ready for battle.
- Description: The mining facility is right next to the sea that gives it that beautiful industrial dream look. A city is not so far away and two villages is only 30 miles from Sohn OST-01. Not only is it big on the outside, it runs about 1/4 of a mile down underground.
The main mining extractor is underground and right in the center, it pulls average 152 tons of Ostrine per day. Large platforms can be found on the Northeast and Southeast sides, each able to land 2 Star Galleon-class Frigates. A medium sized infirmary is located near the center of the mine and so is the cafeteria. 3 small hangars are scattered around the base and each holds 5 Vulture Droids. Conference and Command centers are located in the double Eastern Towers. Bedrooms and bunks is scattered everywhere each with their own designated purposes. The main storage hold is able to carry up to 300,000 tons.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
During the reign of the Galactic Empire, a small mine was built in this location. After the fall of the Galactic Empire, it was captured by pirates under Lord Bucklins. Bucklins became wealthy from the mine and upgraded it further. The First Order however destroyed the mine because the ore was being sold to the Resistance. The place was soon forgotten until another buisness owner repaired the mining facility, named Gosay. Gosay then was sued for using slaves for his mines in an anti slave sector and the mine was then given to the government of Hagreeva. After working for years, Samsay proved to the government he can run the mine successfully and in regulations. 10% of the daily mined Ostrine ore was promised to the government of Hagreeva in return for the ownership rights. The mining facility has been upgraded even more ever since, some upgrades by government funding.
