OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: About 40
  • Force Sensitivity: Master
  • Species: Human
  • Appearance: No one has seen Sod's face in years. She is a tall woman, with a very slender build which often gives the appearance that she could blow away if the wind was strong enough. As her face, so is her body clad in fabrics, airy, revealing little to nothing of the skin beneath. What little skin does on occasion show, people seem to be unable to agree as to its color, and have described everything from pale to ebony black. It appears that the only thing people can agree on are her eyes – big as a deer's and blacker than night, leaving people uncomfortable when they gaze too long.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Sod
  • Loyalties:
    Endelaan
  • The Dark Spring Kingdom
  • Family of Darkness (deWinters, Centurions, Antares'), and within them, mostly to [member="Scherezade deWinter"] & [member="Madalena Antares"]

[*]Wealth: None. Sod has no job and no income. However, she is able to provide for herself, using the Force to take just what she needs and little to nothing beyond that.
[*]Notable Possessions: Sod holds one of the twenty missing vials of the children of [member="Nessarose deWinter"] and @Diomedes Antares.
[*]Skills: Sod has been raised as a Sith Sorceress, her abilities over the mental aspect of the Force incredibly well trained and advanced. Her skill lays mostly in the Force Power Alter Image, which she uses frequently to keep herself hidden and safe.
[*]Personality: Sod is not a woman of many words. She owes the fact that she is alive mostly due to her ability to remain silent, and prefers body language over verbality whenever possible. She is quiet, preferring to listen rather than to convey, and shies away from social situations at almost any cost. When people come too close (physically), she grows anxious, taking a step back whenever possible, and lashing out when it isn't.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice: The Force
  • Combat Function: Stealth and evasion – Sod is not a woman who fights, and when confronted with battle she will almost always choose to run away.
Strengths
  • Stealth – Sod is excellent at hiding, covering in the shadows, and tricking unprotected minds into thinking that she is not there, all through the Force.Illusions and Alter Image – Sod has the ability to make people think they are seeing what she wishes them to see.
Weaknesses
  • When Sod's illusions and spells are broken, she is entirely defenseless, easy to harm, easy to kill.Brittle Bones – Sod is more susceptible to bone breakage than the average human. What could leave a big bruise on most people is enough to leave her with fractures and breakage.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Sod was born on Endelaan, as a scion to Clan Vashti. Her parents were part of the Seraphine – the ruling council of Endelaan that served its people in the absence of the King and Queen. Although she was the middle child, she was the only one among her sibling to show potential in strength to join the Seraphine, and her parents saved no expenses on fitting her with the best Force education they could. Her life followed a pretty boring pattern in that regard. Born to a good family, received a good education, and seated upon the Council of the Seraphine before she was 25.

Sod was taken under the mentorship of Arastos, who at the time was a Seraphine himself, and would later lead the Quintus – a group of five individuals seeking to remove the love and power of the Royal Family from the planet so that they may continue to possess influence over it through the shadows, not shielding away from manipulating anything and anyone, including groups of Endelaan who were considered sacred.

Sod had no idea of that when she began to grow beneath his guidance. But Arastos saw great potential in her powers and choice of expertise (illusions, mind tricks, avoidance) and attempted to bring her over to his side. So certain was he that she would follow him to it, that he let her in; the two performed the Bond of Ruling, akin to getting married on Endelaan, and he believed that he had a loyal wife who would help him with his ambitions in any way that she could.

At first, Sod was entirely enchanted, having lived most of her life void of romantic involvement. Yet as time passed, she began to realize what Arastos was doing and planning. She resumed and kept the act up for years while with him, trying to learn as much as she could, and trying to find an escape. Arastos continued to grow in power and shadow influence, yet she saw the roots of his doings in nearly everything around her, pushing her to hide and hold back even more, unable to find the right moment to strike and protect the planet that was her home.

When Arastos took Sod to the chamber of the vials, Sod thought she would die for lack of breath. It was there that Arastos showed her what he had discovered many years prior – seven centuries ago, the Queen of Endelaan, [member="Nessarose deWinter"], had undergone an accident, and would never be able to bear children, for all her eggs had been released and fertilized at the same time. Her body could not hold on to it, almost killing her as she began to miscarry all at once. One of the Scientists that she had brought with her from the Core saved her life. Nessarose's body had hung on to twins – [member="Scherezade deWinter"] and [member="Brayden Antares"] – and four hundred eggs had been saved, stored away as embryos. The embryos were meant to be partially used at a later time, after the twins were older, and the unused ones were meant to be destroyed. But when the Gulag began to sweep the Galaxy over and the Royal Family disappeared, the room was forgotten. Astaros had discovered it, and had already stolen some of the embryos.

With Sod, he stole three more, and the two left the Forbidden Temple undetected. Sod knew what Astaros wished to do; to bring those embryos to life, to have members of the Royal Family under his influence and under his bidding. And she also knew she could not stand against him, could not gather the political support needed to oppose him, and would be in danger if she even tried.

But she could not do nothing.

Sod managed to escape Endelaan, using one of the little ships that was used very rarely to scan the nearby parts of the planets. And with her, she had managed to carry one of the Embryos.

She has been traveling for several years now, trying to find any of the scions of the Family of Darkness, believing that if they were raised and lived outside of the influence of her husband, they would be able to protect it, and perhaps return to their home planet. Thus, she has been entirely unlucky in her journey.
