Skype

I've not used Skype except for family things and that video chat. I use Google Hangouts/Chat a lot and FBook chat on my phone...I hear tell that the use of Skype is type based and not call based.

Do people know if the skype mobile sucks battery badly?

Despite my general techiness, I know next to nothing of how this place uses Skype. In other factions I am usually the curmudgeon who says that faction stuff should only be done in the faction forum, but I should be willing to learn.

I mean it depends but normally no. I usually have it on at all times on my phone and it doesn't seem to really drain it any faster.

my phone notices it, but my phone is weird.

It is text and call based though. It has livechat features and calls.

When we use it for chaos is it text or chat? I spend a lot of time at school, so vocal or visual are unavailable for me.

We mostly use text but every so often we do voice chats. Cam doesn't have a mic at the moment so she is always textiing. You can also set options on your phone to stop certain notifications by setting your phone's skype to invisible and I think you can block calls but i'm not sure.

Yeah its mostly text. Most people don't do calls unless a game is being organized.
