Skyla was born to a wealthy business tycoon on Coruscant. Her mother died during childbirth, leaving her at the mercy of her sociopath father Lex. Growing up, Skyla was tested by Lex in numerous ways and trained in the darkside of the Force. She was groomed to be a ruthless business executive. Mythology played an important role in her grooming, with her Father Lex often comparing their family to gods destined to rule the galaxy. In her family money was power and family was not an automatic source of trust. Skyla was taught the harsh realities of the black market young in life, and she soon developed the inability to trust anybody, not even herself at times.
Growing up she attented an ivy league education and had several tutors in the Force. Her father wanted her prepared for the large scale galactic dealings his copmany LexCore was famous for. As soon as Skyla graduated from school her father sent her to the University of Coruscant to master in business and economics. Skyla soon found out that University was more about networking than actual education and she joined several fraternities and secret societies to boost her influence. Eventually she graduated expecting to join her father and help him run LexCore, the conglomerate her father ran. Unfortunately her father had other plans.
Skyla was shunned to the planet of Jutrand to test her loyalty and her survivorship. She was cut out of her fathers will and told to run a company by herself. Eventually Skyla formed a secret society of Dark Jedi to help her network and build influence and wealth. She ultimately plans to take revenge on her father for his shady dealings while she grew up, but secretly she wonders if she is just as much of a sociopath as Lex is.
