Description:
The Skvader is the personal armor of Usagi Ike, incorporating reforged pieces of Mandalorian armor recovered by the Silver Jedi during the reconstruction of the Jedi temple on Ossus. It was something of a fun side project for the humanoid biot, wishing to take a stab at designing her own piece of Beskar’gam.
Rather than go for an armor set of full beskar, Usagi developed a composite layout as a weight saving measure and as a means to add some extra protection. It starts with a thin base layer of beskar as a hard backing, a middle layer of reinforced duraplast to protect against the effects of EMPs and ion blasts, and a top coat of neutronium-impregnated ferrocarbon that serves to provide resistance to corrosive elements and to help disperse the energy of impacting projectiles and bolts across the surface of the armor.
The purpose built detachable flight pack is constructed from a frame of lightweight agrinium topped off with reinforced duraplast, making it resistant to the effects of EMPs and ion blasts.
Some other notable features are a pair of forearm mounted high capacity rippers, and integrated crushgaunts. Otherwise, the armor is lacking all other of the integrated weapon systems common seen with Mandalorian armor, like flamethrowers or missile launchers.
