DESCRIPTION

Commissioned at the behest of Darth Nefaron , the Monastic-series droids are designed to his exact specifications.

Something of a spiritual successor to Helix's own officer droids, the Monastics are programmed with over 230 known forms of martial arts (often being trained by veteran House Assassins), as well as centuries of accumulated combat data and tactical information. Each is a supremely accurate, skilled, and deadly enemy.

Monastic droids' components are created with high-grade Helixium, granting them a truly unpleasant combination of Force-immunity, regenerative capability, and a chameleonic surface to more easily blend in with their environments. Their outer layers are created from a mixture of damage-resistant Helsteel, highly-regenerative Blightsteel, and a lattice of Helixium throught to provide a profoundly-durable armored shell against most commonly-encountered varieties of damage. The substances used are top-of-the-line, with no expense spared across the board in securing the best gradations of these respective metals.

Likewise, all such models are possessed of greatly-superhuman strength, agility, and accuracy, aided by the inclusion of inbuilt Aftershock and Carrion software into their systems.

They may be found wielding all manner of weapons, including rarer and more exotic Helix-made armaments. No two droids will be alike in their preference of arms, and thus, their would-be opponents should be prepared to face the full breadth of Helix's diseased genius. Most models also feature hidden integrated weaponry, the better to ensure that they remain quite deadly even in settings that restrict the carrying of arms.

Pound for pound, these machines would be better served leading armies, conquering nations, and carving a path of blood across the galaxy in their own right. There are few other creations of the Dzara that manage this level of individual deadliness. Indeed, they are sometimes dispatched for such purposes, and can be tasked to assassinate key enemy personnel (in small teams or alone) lead important military task forces, or other tasks that cannot be trusted to anything less than the Dzara's best.

Monastics have been observed tearing the doors from armored bunkers, breaking the skulls of charging war beasts with a single blow, surviving unprotected atmospheric reentry, and darting between the heartbeat-thin gaps in automatic weapons fire. Blessedly (for the Dzara's enemies), these regal protectors remain uncommon, and the significant investment in time, effort, and money that each represents ensures that they are deployed with great care (and rarity).
