Special Features:
  • Good Lightsaber Resistance
  • Excellent Blaster and Slugthrower Protection
  • Fire and Electric Resistance
  • EMP and Ion Resistance
  • Moderate Strength Augmentation
  • Extreme Mobility
Weakness:
  • Conflicting Functions: The camouflage system cannot be active while the shield system is activated. Switching between the two takes several second.
  • Difficult Reloading: While the wrist and shoulder mounted weapons are capable of being reloaded, doing so is a cumbersome process that leaves the wearer vulnerable for the duration.
  • Power Dependent: While the suit is capable of augmenting the strength of the wearer, offering limited flight, and bending the laws of gravity, each of these features requires power that would otherwise be spent on shields, electronics, and camouflage. When out of power, not only are each of these enhancements no longer available to the wearer, but the power servos and hydraulics of the armor actually interferes with the mobility of the wearer.
Description:

Recognizing that with Death Watch now in play, Rogue Mandalorians working with the Primeval, Republic, and Sith, and the tenancies for foreign militaries to mimic Mandalorians in the design of their own armor, Olivia Dem'adas ordered the creation of two suits of Beskar'gam capable of overwhelming the most heavily armored foes as well as beating the Jedi and Sith at their own game.

Knowing that accomplishing such a task would require the aid and advice of an experienced force user, Larraq turned to two men he knew he could trust. First, Larraq turned to the Alor of Clan Rekali, known and trusted wielders of the light side of the force. Larraq came to the man with a simple question. "How do I build armor that protects against the force?" It was with his council and guidance, and a great deal of help, Larraq was able to obtain alchemically treated Terentatek leather that was promised to protect his body from those who wield the force. It was through Ember Rekali that Larraq was also able to obtain the pelt of a Jakobeast, infused with the essence of Ember Rekali himself, as well as a pair of Jal Shey Scopes.

Needing a man that was the opposite of the Rekali Alor, but still loyal and trustworthy, left Rygel Larraq with only once other choice in council. The second man to be approached by Larraq was the leader of Clan Vereen. A long time friend and business partner of Larraq, and a man whom Larraq knew could be trusted to not ask too many questions. To him, Larraq approached with a statement. "I want to turn a force user's own abilities against him." It was with his guidance and experience with the arsenal of a force user that Larraq was able to devise the next stage of his plan. Before the arrangement was completed, Larraq presented Draco Vereen with the pelt of a Jakobeast and asked that the man infuse it with his own force essence. When asked why, Larraq gave the Alor the honest answer. That he needed to convince an opponent that he was a Sith.

Needing something more aggressive than the typical Mandalorian Crushgaunts, and needing the ability to convince others that the wearer of the armor was a force user, Rygel Larraq spent a great deal of effort functionally working the electronics of a Shock Glove into the reactive micronized beskar fibers of a Crushgaunt. While this special glove was chosen for the right hand, the hand which both Olivia and Larraq wielded melee weapons with, a different faux ability would be needed for the left hand. For that, Larraq turned to the little-known Grav Glove made by Vanir Technologies. With effort, he was able to incorporate the sophisticated electronics of the design into a left-handed crushgaunt.

With the two gauntlets Larraq had created, Larraq theorized that he could mimic a force user's ability to both telekineticlally manipulate objects and produce lightning-like effects via hand gestures. Now armed with the tools of the Sith, Larraq set about the task of designing a weapon system that could render even Beskar'gam obsolete. Far simpler a task, Larraq delved into every combat related injury and fatality report to filed by a Hyperion Security employee. Similarly, he delved into every publicly available police and hospital report in Sundari. He searched for every case in which a weapon bypassed, ignored, overwhelmed, or simply was not effected by Beskar'gam. The results of this search allowed him to acquire a list of weapons that, through trickery or brutality, were highly effective against Mando'ade.

For each gauntlet of the armor, Larraq tore apart and re-framed three specialized weapons upon a unified chassis. The right wrist gauntlet included an ARGH Cable Launcher on the inner edge, complete with access port for a fresh spool to be inserted. The top of the wrist gauntlet included a CryoBan Gun that operated much like a flamethrower while the bottom of the wrist gauntlet included a powerful ACS 208 Wrist Tensor. Both of these weapons included ports for the easy reloading of fuel and powercells into either of the weapons.

The left wrist gauntlet included a ARGH Flamerthrower on the upper side of the gauntlet and an energy shield projector on the outer edge of the gauntlet. The lower weapon installed on the left gauntlet differs between the two suits of armor. For Larraq, an Akovin Relentless Blade is installed. For Olivia, an ACS 208 Ion Beamer is installed. Ports are included in the left gauntlet to facilitate the reloading of fuel and powercells for each weapon.

Larraq's armor is black and red, symbolizing justice and honoring a parent. Olivia's armor is Blue and Silver, symbolizing reliability and mourning of a lost loved one.

On the collar of each suit of armor is the fur of a Jakobeast; alchemically treated to radiate with the force, making the wearer feel as if they are a force user to other force users. The Jakobeast fur on Larraq's suit of armor makes him appear as if he is a dark-sided force user while the Jakobeast fur on Olivia's armor makes her appear as if she is a light-sided force user. The inner layer of either suit of armor's helmet is lined with alchemically treated Terentatek leather that (in conjunction with the Jal Shey scope connected to the helmet) protects the wearer from the mental and illusion based attacks of a force user.

The Armorweave Underlay for Skira Beskar'gam is a more expensive variant of the underlay used in Hyperion Beskar'gam. It is comprised of thin wires of beskar, cloth fabric, and strips of alchemically treated Terentatek leather. The underlay comes in four parts. Each arm is a separate piece of underlay that runs from the wrists to as far as the shoulder blades. The torso section is actually a Jerkin that extends nearly to the knees of the wearer and is adorned after both arm sections have been applied. The fourth section of underlay is a simple pair of tight-fitting pants. Each piece of armor plating connects to sockets built into the armored underlay.

A scaled down GE-Exoskeleton is worked into the design of the armor. While the servo motors and hydraulic chambers only provide half the strength augmentation of the original design, the system is far lighter, requires less power, and is more reliable over extended periods. Also worked into the design of the armor is exotic Gravitational Leveler system that utilizes artificial gravity technology to allow an individual to walk on walls and perform other unnatural fears that may or may not aid in convincing others that the wearer of the armor was a force user.

Mounted externally on the armor are a number of beskar plated pouches and satchels designed to hold weapons, ammo, and various tools. Each of these pouches are placed and angled to optimize a wearer's ability to quickly and easily access each pouch's contents with a single hand.

That weight includes everything but the external weapons and equipment. I based the armor heavily upon Anija's armor, designed by Draco. I suplemented most of the engineering and techy stuff for weapons, reduced the overall armor quality, and doubled the weight from the design used by the other armor. While most of the systems included add up to some impressive weights, that is because each system, standard, includes electronics, machine parts, a metal frame, and an external chassis. Since most of those systems are included in the actual skeleton of the armor itself, they all share a singular frame and chassis. Thus lowering the overall weight of each bit of equipment.
