STRENGTHS

Force Suppression: The alchemized leather provides a moderate Force suppression effect that dulls the wearer’s connection - and perceptions - to the Force, which is not easily overcome without special training or exertion.

Subtle: To an unkeen eye, the choker is quite easily mistaken for a simple fashion accessory, and because of the suppression effects, can help reduce the wearer’s detectable presence in the Force.

WEAKNESSES

Destructible: Though made from tough leather, the choker isn’t remarkably resistant to the kind of wear and tear encountered in Sith training, let alone intentional damage.

DESCRIPTION

While studying in the Red Library, Anet Raine stumbled across a series of tomes on the secret arts of Sith leatherworking. This sparked an idea to create a fashionable device that, when worn, can weaken a Sith’s connection to the Force. In this state of weakness, she conjectured, the Sith would be pushed to overcome limits in a similar philosophy to strength training. A helpful side effect is that it can double as a means to help the wearer reduce their presence in the Force.

After creating two successful prototypes from Terentatek hide, Anet gifted one to her fellow Acolyte, Kirie Corsell, for saving her life, and kept the other for herself. Each choker comes with a simple split ring that can hold stones, charms, and other accessories - whether for fashion or to enhance the choker’s properties.
