So, I've got a bit of a question.

I know the Dark Lord has hands, and voices, and I want to say he probably has a head, shoulder(s), knee(s) and toe(s). But I've been seeing a lot more of these things tossed around.

Just what is there, in the Dark Lord's cadre, for Hands and Voices and Shadows and Eyes and Big Toes?

Is there a limit to how many and which?

Curiousity's sake.

And is it public knowledge? So I can prepare to hunt them all down IC.

At the moment there's a max of five Voices allowed at any given time.

For Hands I believe there's two, but I may be remembering incorrectly.

Special Snowflake Rebranded Hand Wrath has only one title holder.

Idk about the Shadow, they're a new construct and I don't pay attention to the Assassins much.

So, there is a limited number of the positions? And is that public IC knowledge, as to who is what body part?

Also, is the position of ... like Elbow of the Dark Lord open?

I like to assume that the general populace (and most of the military and lower echelons of Sith) have zero idea as to how many Voices, Hands, Elbows, Groins, and Shins of the Dark Lord there actually are.

They know some of them because of their deeds on the battlefield or their notoriety from other sources, but they don't know exactly how many of them there are.

For all they know there could be an infinite number.

But that's just what I think / RP, it might not be true at all, but heh.

There is the Wrath and the Eye.

Below that is the Five Voices

Each Voice can have a Co-voice

The Hands. There are three currently if I am not mistaken. The third, the leader of the Assassins, is a Hand but goes by Shadow as a bit of an honorary thing specific to the Assassins.

That is pretty much it. The new Parliament structure includes a "Mouth" but that is not so much an Official titles as something the person in the current position calls themselves.

Makes sense. Just curious if I could use that for a plot point, of going and finding the Shadow/Voice/Head/Shoulders/Knees/Toes/Knees/Toes and kill them all.

I guess just mindless slaughter of Acolytes until I level up to my final form is in order.

I believe the Hands would be relatively easy to find due to their deeds and notoriety. The Shadow is supposed to be a far more elusive character. If a Shadow is known, then it is a bad Shadow.

And what is the purpose of the Shadow?
Do you need to sow it onto the Dark Lord's feet? (ok that last one isn't serious)

It's either one or two. I took over as Shadow in the absence of Darth Ferus, but at his return there may be a question of who remains and for how long.

The Shadow of the Dark Lord is the leader of the Sith Assassins. Their purpose is to conduct covert operations for the One Sith, in a similar manner to the way the Hands conduct overt military operations. At most, the position is a rumour. Some Assassins are infamous and recognisable ([member="Darth Ferus"] for example) in order to spread terror, but most are quite obscure.

If you mean Ophidia, then at most he's met, talked to and is perhaps loosely affiliated with a Rattataki who is rumoured to be an assassin. There is no solid proof of her position. This message will self-destruct in 5... 4... 3... 2...1-

I can't speak on the behalf of my predecessor/co-shadow(?)/Ferus, of course.

The Shadow was made because the Hand of the Dark Lord covers assassinations as well, but it wasn't fitting for a person who focused specifically on it


Shadow is just Hand with a fancy title.

I think for the Hands, I'll bring in my Wicked Epic Finger Trap From the Orient that has a -4 Dex

And Maybe a bottle of hair spray, or like... a dark room with a light switch and night vision goggles for the Eye Because Retinas
