Intent: To Create a special ring for the padawans od the Padawan Pack to influence them closer to the darkside

Created by Balaya to plant for Corvus. Elara led the young woman through the mountains and ruins on Ossus towards a vault Je'gan discovered and uncovered during the jedi's investigations in the wake of Dark harvest. There several things were hidden away and when he and his team departed it was open for sith to plunder the illusion being displaced and him being knocked unconscious before being taken back to the ship. The illusion not being brought back up, with the jedi taking the planet Balaya doubted they knew about it.
With the trap set and the pieces on her small board, Balaya created an old artifact... or at least a good copy. Signet rings were used in the past by the jedi so that wouldn't be suspicious, The ancient sith use to make trap artifacts for jedi who tried to use them. Ensnaring and pushing them further towards the darkside or straight over depending on how strong. Balaya made this was to not be overpowering just that easier path, something to push and guide without screaming darkside influence. Then she used her familiar to have Elara find it and give it to Corvus.
Then she slowly found new purpose with it, there were several padawans in the order, ones that could be shown the vision of the dark lord, ones who needed a guiding hand. They could be brought together like old, the padawan pack reforged and Elara could work to gather them, her skills would be able to get her in and safe. Her cunning and guile leading them into the trap and letting them find their special rings. A cache of them that could eventually make them turn. The next generation of jedi servants, willingly moving towards the vision of the dark lord. It would be glorious.
The rings power is severely restrained compared to a traditional ensnarement spell, where those were strong and could be used to heel turn on a dime the rings function as that nagging voice. The one that says you could do more for the greater good with the darkside and not lose your soul or let the darkness consume you. Meant to play with the pride and amplify that inner voice that balances out the conscience. It won't make you evil it will just make those thoughts and wants easier to feel.
