Strengths:
  • Sith Forges: Developed by the Sith Empire, where investments within the military are extremely high, the Legion's Service Armor provides the user with substantial resistance against both energy attacks (excluding lightsabers) and kinetic ones due to the mix of materials they have combined to provide the wearer with great defensive capabilities.
  • Balanced: Designed to grant optimal defense sacrificing as less as possible mobility
Weaknesses:
  • Glacing Blows: Could receive only glancing blows from lightsabers, something more than that...and well you know the result.
  • Anti-EMP/Ion limitation: Solely more resistant in the helmet area, the rest of the armor is not resistant in any way.
DESCRIPTION

The Sith-Imperial Legionnaire Armor Mk.I has been created with the goal of answering the question - "How to have reliable defence without turning our soldiers into immobile damage sponges?". A mass produced item means that you cannot be too flexible with how you design the armor due to the extreme costs with every little change. Nonetheless, one should not underestimate the Sith Empire's R&D where investments have been substantial.

The armor is not very different than most standard service armors used around the galaxy other than the fact of its excellence demonstrated in the combination of the materials to deliver a better product than most competitors. Although, it can be considered a generic service armor, the Sith R&D have squeezed the absolute maximum they could of such template.

During live fire tests, the armor performed above satisfactory considering how light it might be considered compared to super heavy armors. Additionally, the power armor gloves allow the wearer to lift heavier things with easy, not too drastically but something in the field of being able to carry a 10kg as if it is 5kg up to 35kg. Other than that, it also comes with camo coating which changes accordingly to the environment around the wearer.

The HUD software has been simplified as much as possible due to the fact that one needs to be able to learn its uses in the timeframe of a standard basic training cycle.

All in all, the LSA is an epitome of the perfectly balanced mass produced standard armor.

Generic: Nothing too special about it, just a standard service armor for a military belonging to a large Empire.

Being average or generic is not a weakness. It is run of the mill. A moderate stat is just that. Moderate. Remove this as a weakness, place it in special features or the description of the outfit, and find another weakness.

This is your only low resistance trait in the submission and still this armor offers survivability to glancing blows? Negative. This is mass produced armor that is already very protective of slugs and blasters. Remove that it offers any protection to lightsabers or lower one rating in the light of an extensive sheet of features.

The generic bit has always worked as a weakness previously. Nonetheless, I've removed it and added another weakness.

Also dropped lightsaber resistance to very low, if low is not sufficient enough.
