Emissary of Mayhem
Voice of Disharmony
DESCRIPTION
Designed shortly after the conquest of the Core by the Sith Covenant, the Seeker-Model emphasizes mobility and efficiency in its design. Although a heavier option had been in production by the Covenant for some time, students at the burgeoning Coruscant, Thrantin, and Pelagon Academies lacked an option for light operations or day wear. The Seeker-Model was designed to fill this role. Each set is tailored to its wearer, and alterations may be made during or after the tailing process to suit the recipient's tastes, or to signal cultural, religious, or criminal affiliations. During Vestra Tane's tenure as headmaster of the Academy, acolytes were encouraged to customize the uniforms to their liking. In full, the uniform consists of a corrugated long-sleeved shirt, pants, knee-boots and a thigh-length, sleeveless coat with armorweave layers and a reinforced abdomen. It also includes a cloak for relief against adverse weather, and a headpiece to obscure the acolyte's identity, with an integrated air filter and infrared system.

SPECIAL FEATURES
- Highly customizable
- Good protection against energy weapons (lightsabers, blasters, etc.)
- Light weight
- Air filter reduces wearer's vulnerability to airborne chemical agents
- Infrared systems increase versatility of very young or inexperienced acolytes
- Mix 'n Match - Seeker Armor is highly modular. Any individual piece can be replaced, and the cloak and jacket provide ample space for an individual student to customize, either for practical reasons or to signal aesthetic preference, cultural or criminal affiliation, etc.
- Efficiency of Form - The Seeker-Model's coat consists of multiple very thin layers of armorweave layered on top of one another, and then covered by zeyd-cloth padding. This arrangement, while expensive, disperses energy attacks with high levels of efficiency while compromising minimally on weight and mobility.
- Training Wheels - The headpiece provides the wearer with infrared optics and an inbuilt air filter, allowing newer acolytes to track targets in low light and resist toxins without advanced Force techniques.
- Literally Just Clothes, Actually - Seeker armor offers no protection against radiation poisoning, toxin absorbed through the skin, or the like. No part of the suit is airtight aside from the headpiece, nor does it protect against sonic attacks to any meaningful degree.
- Short Circuit - Exposure to strong EMP waves or directed ion attacks will short the headpiece's infrared systems and force a reboot, leaving the wearer unable to use that function for several seconds or longer. Also, the reboot noise is terrible. Bad for your ears.
