+Defense as Offense: While the shield can obviously block incoming blades and fire, the razor sharp edges can also shear through flesh and bone.
+Devaronian Edge: The edges of the shield have been impregnated with devaronian blood-poison. Description:
The Sith Triumvirate allowed Draco Vereen to set up a forge on Ruusan - the most powerful Force nexus in the galaxy - under a few conditions. One of those was that, when requested, he would produce arms and armor for the Triumvirs. Orcus eventually came to call, asking Vereen to fulfill that promise.
The result was a heavy shield capable of stopping even the blast of a heavy laser cannon, made from impervium acquired in the Ruusan mines and alchemized by Sith sorcery. The alchemical properties of the shield allow it to act in a similar fashion to a Sith sword. If struck by Force lightning, the shield can act as a capacitor, absorbing and storing that energy until it is released in a strike.
