- Resilient - Most Anointed Sisters are built tough, but Mercy is a cut above the rest. The centerpiece of her squad, the Sister has been known to withstand the most withering of blows, only to go back for seconds.
- CQC expert - Whether storming a breach or engaging in hand-to-hand combat, Mercy excels in close-quarter clashes.
- Unflinching - The heat of battle is where Mercy belongs; she does not waver, or flinch away from her duty. Brave beyond a doubt, she would march her way into Hell itself if ordered to do so.
- Slow - Despite one's prowess with blade and blaster, there is only so much the human body can achieve. Due to her armor's weight, Mercy often finds herself handicapped heading into battle. Though her mobility remains largely unhindered, her movement speed is severely decreased by the life-saving kit she wears, making it easier for her enemies to get a fix on her.
- Jaded - Her first taste of real combat saw thousands of her sisters slain. And for what? Disturbed by what she has witnessed, Mercy's faith in the Crusade's leadership has been shaken. Quick to question those in charge, the Sister will speak her mind always, the consequences be damned.
