PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Physically Otto appears like any other droid of his class. Humanoid features, a rounded head. Coated in a weathered red paint. However, Otto is most commonly found with his suit of armor. Designed similarly to ancient knights of legend. With a squared off, winged helmet and a large white and red tabard covering much of the torso and legs.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Being a droid not built for combat, instead etiquette and courtesy were the priorities Otto was engineered. Naturally a rather soft spoken and mild mannered droid even after having his personality matrix altered to make him more well suited for more adventurous operations. Having been in the service of House Pelagia, Otto was instilled with virtues of honor and dignity as well as a strong distain for darkness and villainy. As a machine he is rather stubborn in his view of up holding a chivalric code and vanquishing evil wherever it may be. Often viewing all of his enemies as Sith without exception.
STRENGTHS (WIP)
Strength: Being made not of bone and muscle but of durasteel and hydraulics Otto has a very capable body. Able to contend and surpass many organic counterparts.
Durability and Longevity: Much like with his strength, Otto’s metallic chassis can withstand a lot more abuse than that of the average organic and droid alike. Able to push past damage that would typically cripple or kill most others.
Knowledge: As a protocol droid Otto possesses extensive information on cultures big and small all across the known galaxy.
WEAKNESSES (WIP)
Electric Boogaloo: Otto is horribly vulnerable to shock and ionic sources of damage. Weaponry and abilities that use such ‘gimmicks’ are very dangerous to him and his chassis.
Restraining Bolts: A pretty simple way to earn the utmost obedience from Otto. Just slap one on and he will become slave to their new master... So long as it is on his body.
Activation Switch: Being a 3P0 droid he possesses a exploitable feature that makes it easy to shut him off if given access to.
Heavy and Dense: Otto can not swim, his body is mostly made up of metal so he just sinks within any body of fluid that he finds himself in. Unless it’s miraculously more dense than his droid body.
HISTORY
Otto's earliest memories are of being a servant to House Pelegia of the Tapani Sector. Spesically as the personal assistant and tutor to a young noblewoman. Assigned to guide and teach her in becoming a virtuous lady of the sector as well as the wider galaxy. Being knowledgeable in the customs and languages of countless cultures across the galaxy.
One day on the world of Pelegon there was a fierce hurricane that brought considerable devastation to the capital city where he and noblewoman had currently been. During the disaster Otto showcased a great deal of courage and resolve for a protocol. Saving the noblewoman a several other dames and baronesses from certain death, saving the daughters of several noble houses.
For such a service, Otto was bestowed with the title of knight by House Pelegia and supported by a number of other lesser houses. Becoming something of a celebrated hero not just to the gentry but even the commoners as well. Setting a precedent that even someone of 'lowest' birth such as a droid could rise those ranks. Being given the name Sir Otto Gold-Heart for his care and compassion. Also because his 'heart' was literally made with gold. Used in the complex circuitry of his internal computers.
Others however were not as thrill with the idea of a droid earning such a prestigious rank within Tapani society. Saber-rake Knights both petty and high-born were greatly displeased with sharing their knighthood with a mechanical slave. Viewing it as tarnishing their fraternity.
After receiving some unsanctioned hardware and soft where upgrades that voided his warranty Otto was bestowed the skills and capabilities of the historical knights of legend. Armored warriors known for their bravery and skill. Who stood against evil and fought for good. A very romanticized history that has led to some unforeseen consequences regarding Otto's digital psyche.
Not very long after being transformed into a knight. A band of displeased saber-rakes had sought to rid the sector of Otto. Kidnapping the droid with an iron blaster and slapping a restraining bolt on his chassis. Even though they were harming a fellow knight, fratricide was a line they didn't dare cross, at least not entirely. Otto was sold off to a crew of spacers passing through.
For an amount of time not even known to the droid himself he was passed around and sold to various new owners. Given all manner of jobs to do and parts to make it easier for him. But deep within his golden heart his chivalrous code still remained, and in time would resurface...
