Those in the Order of the Silver Jedi are quite fond of tea. It is a custom to serve such a beverage to visitors to Silver Rest on Kashyyyk. The healers also make use of the health-some beverage and make a variety of brews to aid their patients – from invigorating to calming, many believe the drink is just plain good for the soul.
Celeste Rigel thought it would be nice to have a special blend signature to the Silver Rest. This tea would need to be flavorful and equally useful. Together with the healers of the Silver Circle, she put together a list of ingredients that would make for a nice tea. They hosted a few tastings, and the final result was named Silver Sage Tea.
The tea has a pleasant flavor with strong notes of mint, and faint hints of lavender. There is also a very slight sweetness from the honeyblossom. The desert sage as a bit of delicate spicy flavor. The Silver Sage tea is perfect for unwinding and promoting a calm mood, drinking too much may end up making some people a bit drowsy. The tea blend is made in small batches at Silver Rest, and is available for any member of the Order to enjoy.
Brewing instructions: the loose leaf tea is generally placed into a linen sachet or a tea basket, and placed into a teapot or single mug. Boiling water is then poured, and the tea is left to infuse for at least five minutes. The leaves can then be removed, or left inside the hot water for a stronger flavor. Produces a pale gold cup of tea.
