DESCRIPTION

This is a fairly basic set of field armor for medics and healers of the Order to aid in their job of treating patients in or around combat situations. Lightweight, it offers mobility and protection against blasters, and glancing blows from a saber. The chest area is protected by a blast vest, giving the wearer some defense against slugs and explosions. Fully equipped with a medical backpack and spare medpacs, the user should be well able to handle most injuries -- and keep the patient stable until further aid can be arranged. In general, this is a good set for the medic that stays behind the front lines of fire to retrieve and treat patients.

As it is not armored, it would not be optimal for heavy combat situations. The user is still vulnerable to kinetic, sonic/EMP, and piercing blows from a saber.
