COMBAT INFORMATION
• Availability: Common
• Deployment: Mass
• Strengths:
• Heavy firepower: mortars pack a heavy punch, especially when thermobaric charges are in use
• Ability to defend friendly troops against a variety of threats once set up
• Weaknesses:
• Deployment time: As seen in the Ord Radama campaign, heavy weapons require significant time for deployment, during which time they are vulnerable to a variety of enemy units such as line infantry, snipers, ground-attack aircraft
• Limited ammunition: Especially apparent with missile troopers and mortar teams, they are vulnerable in prolonged engagements when their finite amount of heavy ammunition makes them vulnerable when exhausted
• Limited tactical mobility: The sheer weight of the equipment can make movement of heavy weapons units much more difficult on the battlefield
• Vulnerable on the move: while in movement, a heavy weapons unit is worth even less than a line infantry unit (e.g. stormtroopers)
Description: The Ord Radama campaign proved that not having the full range of infantry heavy weapons units on a battlefield can be a liability, so Jessica put it upon herself to reform the heavy weapons section of the Silver Jedi Army. It was found that a combination that would be useful in many unit-level combat situations was one platoon of missile troopers, capable of taking on both anti-tank and anti-aircraft roles due to the multipurpose nature of the MiniMag PTL missile launchers, fielding thirty launchers with 6 support personnel responsible for the maintenance and the resupply of the 3t4 man-portable missiles on the field. Similarly the mortar platoon features six Jairdain mortars, each manned by five people, with six support personnel, capable of providing field artillery in devastating amounts at range. Due to the impression left by the usage of thermobaric charges on Ord Radama, they are also trained in the use of thermobaric charges. Finally, the machinegun platoon, comprising 15 heavy machineguns, each manned by two soldiers, and six support personnel accompanying it, for a total of 108 men across the company.

Of course, there are drawbacks to using heavy weapons: as seen in the Ord Radama campaign, heavy weapons require significant time for deployment, during which time they are vulnerable to a variety of enemy units such as line infantry, snipers, ground-attack aircraft. Also said heavy weapons carry limited ammunition: it becomes a liability that is especially apparent with missile troopers and mortar teams, they are vulnerable in prolonged engagements when their finite amount of heavy ammunition makes them vulnerable when exhausted. Finally it makes movement much more limited and not only because it is slower: while on the move it is vulnerable to a variety of other units. For these reasons, Silver Jedi operational protocol requires that a heavy weapons company be supported by at least one platoon of line infantry to address the vulnerabilities of the company while in movement.

KPA-01 "Katarn" armor (armor)
This armour is Limited production so because of that, it cannot be standard issue for a mass deployed unit, however, it may be worn by special members of the unit such as squad leaders. Please indicate that in your submission and add a set of mass-produced armour for the remainder of the unit if you wish to keep it or swap it for another set entirely.
