Description:
The Silurus Class Exploration and Research Vessel has been created by Salacia Consolidated for a two pronged approach : finding new avenues of salvage and researching new locales for mineral and metal resources. With an expansive and blank interior, Silurus-Class is flexible enough to hold cargo, salvaged items, resources, research materials, equipment and more.
In terms of personal quarters for the crew, the Silurus-Class is much more luxurious than its counterparts in this measure. Bantha-hide leather can be found in the cockpit on the chairs. The galley contains an array of standard appliances with the option to modify the setting for a personal chef droid. Passenger cabins all contain personal refreshers and double beds in an effort to give passengers a since of privacy and 'homey' feel when on long assignments.
The hangar often stores a personal vessel or light freighter for trips to the surface of planets. If needed, surface exploration craft can be loaded into the Silurus-Class to
aid in searches. By nature the vessel is not designed to hold fighters or attack craft, as there is little need to.
