- Two in One: Chakrams are designed as ranged weapons, to be thrown at a target. This chakram can be separated into two blades better suited for melee combat.
- Phrik You: The incredibly hard metal phrik was used in the construction of the blades. Phrik is one of the few materials resistant to lightsabers—a useful trait for a Sith's weapon.

Ansisa commissioned Marcus to make a sword for her. As payment, he convinced her to find him a copy of Velok of Toola's The Proper Way to Corrupt a Jedi, a rare book Marcus had been searching for. During the process of describing what she wanted, Ansisa's design changed to that of a chakram that could be separated into two blades.
