OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To craft a chakram for Ansisa Ansisa .
  • Canon Link: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Primary Source: "Sugarbread"
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Chakram
  • Size: Average
  • Weight: Light
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Alchemized to move silently through the air
  • Permanently sharpened blade
  • Can be separated into two blades or conjoined into one chakram
STRENGTHS
  • Silent But Deadly: The weapon has been alchemized to move silently through the air.
  • Two in One: Chakrams are designed as ranged weapons, to be thrown at a target. This chakram can be separated into two blades better suited for melee combat.
  • Phrik You: The incredibly hard metal phrik was used in the construction of the blades. Phrik is one of the few materials resistant to lightsabers—a useful trait for a Sith's weapon.
  • Still Sharp: Thanks to the svolten rhyolite incorporated into the design, the blade is permanently sharp.
WEAKNESSES
  • Force Voids: The weapon loses its alchemized attributes when in the vicinity of Force-dampening matter.
  • Mode Locked: Attempting to use the chakram in melee combat is ill-advised, as it it intended as a ranged weapon. The blades can be separated for this purpose, but the process of separation or joining takes a few seconds. In a fight, every moment is precious.
  • Specialty Weapon: The curved nature of the blades makes them poorly suited to dueling against lightsabers, though they are made of lightsaber-resistant phrik nonetheless.
DESCRIPTION
Ansisa commissioned Marcus to make a sword for her. As payment, he convinced her to find him a copy of Velok of Toola's The Proper Way to Corrupt a Jedi, a rare book Marcus had been searching for. During the process of describing what she wanted, Ansisa's design changed to that of a chakram that could be separated into two blades.
