Silence Is Golden

He gently petted her head now, sitting himself up. Curious as to what all instincts she possessed, but opted not to find out. "Cute." He said again. Romeo's mind rushed about through his life, and he stopped petting then, his mind flashed many battles, all which he had been involved in, and all the things he had done, and nearly done, He shook his head, and started petting again. It was such a strange thing, a darksider, with so much hate that filled him, how did he never go fully evil was in question, and the answer was easy, he had better things to do then be angry all the time. "So..what now?" [member="Katar"]

Her purring continued. She curled into a little ball practically on his lap as Romeo continued petting her, her hands stretching out like paws with her little claw fingernails. When he stopped for a moment, she looked up at him. She could tell that something was wrong. His scent suggested as much. Was he hurt somewhere? Was he sick? She got onto her knees and sniffed his chest and neck. It was a little close for comfort to some people, but it was her way of checking on someone. But then, he started petting her again, and she started purring again.

Romeo's neck stretched up as he wondered what the young lady was doing, though assumed she was trying to figure him, and his flashbacks. He sighed afterwards, and stopped. "Katar...I have a secret. What you think of me afterwards is up to you." He said looking into her eyes. He had to get it off his chest.
"A few months ago I was poisoned, it was Sith Poison...it enraged me, made me not myself, and do things I wouldnt do. My people offer sacrifices to their make believe goddess...under that poison I almost sacrificed my daughter at a ritual...some how I gained control over myself, and ran away with her, ran here. As far away as I could from the Sith...everyday I live with that thought in my head, I almost killed my own daughter.." He said with a tear forming up in his eyes. This was something that truly bothered him everyday. He didnt know how to forgive himself for it either. @Katar

Katar listened patiently to Romeo's story. She saw the tears forming in his eyes, and the pain in them. So that was the problem. He was consumed with grief and guilt, and the Dark Side taint was still somewhere inside him. But it wasn't his fault. He said himself the the poison caused him to act like an entirely different person. So, she wrapped her arms around his neck, and hugged him. "It's okay....." She whispered softly in his ear. She wanted him to feel better. There was no need to be sad. His daughter was alive, and they were free. They had escaped. She wanted him to be happy that he still had what he was afraid to lose.

"Thank you." He said wrapping his arms around her, and hugged her. The taint sometimes came out, and he raged on till something knocked huh back to his sense, or knocked, and or killed.
"Very little things get me angry, but when they do...I advise anyone around to leave...last time I lost control, it took getting smacked high into the air to make me come back too. I broke a lot of bones." He pulled her back, and wiped his tears away. "Thank you."

Katar gave him a single nod, meeting his gaze with a calming look. She reached up and patted his head a few times like he had with her. She made a personal vow that she'd be there the next time he lashed out. And she'd be the one to stop him. Should worse come to worse, she felt she might be the best candidate for taming his inner beast. She was remarkable with animals, after all.

That inner beast was something that had got him to keep up with Darren Shaw, but it still wasn't enough. He had still nearly died.
"Alright..." he nodded at her.
"Time for a little more training, then were done for the day. Try lifting me up in the air..also please don't throw me..." he made a joke afterwards. And sat crossed legged smiling as she patted his head.

Katar backed up a bit. Did Romeo want her to lift him with her arms, or with the Force? Probably the Force. She stretched a bit and closed her eyes. Again, she focused on the Force Energy radiating from his body. Very slowly, she began lifting him upward, inch by inch. It was incredibly hard for her. She gritted her teeth from the effort, but kept lifting.

Romeo waited patiently on her, and smiled as he was lifted slowly. He reached out with force himself, and lifted her up with him. "Focus my dear, take your time, and don't out so yourself. You have all the time in the world right now." He said lifting her higher then him. [member="Katar"]

Katar felt herself being lifted up. She didn't let this distract her, though. She didn't want to drop Romeo and hurt him or something. Lifting him was starting to give her a bit of a headache. She continued making him rise. By now he would be halfway towards the ceiling.

Katar eased up her force grasp on him slowly, letting him lower back to the ground. She sighed, relieved. Any longer and she was afraid she would've dropped him!

"You're doing good Katar, certainly the best student I have ever had. You're training is over for the day, though you should always practice your powers. The rest of the day is yours to do with. If you wish to go somewhere, let me know, and I shall have the ship take us there." He said as he genlty put her on the ground. [member="Katar"]

With a wide smile, Katar pointed at Romeo. With everything he'd been teaching her, she wanted to spend her free time around him. He was very interesting to her, and she wanted to see what he did normally when he wasn't training someone.

Katar placed her hand in his. Something told her that she wasn't going to be disappointed. Her eyes alone expressed her enthusiasm.

(Sorry Ive been very busy with the faction stuff, and irl things.)

Romeo lead the way to the cargo bay, he hadnt quite made it there, and thus spoke on the way there.
"I know people, I know the right people, and by this I gain information highly guarded, but this isnt just how. Sometimes Im at the right place, at the right time, and see things. Sometimes...you got to become a different person to get these things. I wear a mask for many reasons. One used to be self conscious...exile will make you think things about yourself that arnt true, but I also wore it so no one would know my face. By no one knowing my face, I can show my face, and be anyone I want."

Strange. To hide behind a mask, so that you didn't have to hide. A peculiar logic. Katar had never considered something quite like that. She'd never hidden her face. That might've been why so many people were afraid of her: Because her eyes were so visible. Maybe a mask would've helped that little problem... She looked up at him as they walked and pointed at his face. "Mask?" She asked.
((OOC: No problem. :) ))

"Are you asking you want one? Or...." he said looking back at her in their walk to the cargo bay. There he had something hidden from all, where no one would ever look, and was his ultimate alias to the galaxy. [member="Katar"]
