He is able to sense his apprentices through them regardless of distance, provided they remain within realspace. The connection is asymmetrical. - Alchemical Barrier: When worn, the amulet maintains a dormant Force barrier woven into the crystal lattice. Under threat, the barrier activates reflexively, forming a close defensive sheath around the wearer. It is not a shield meant for prolonged combat. It is designed to turn lethal blows aside once, sometimes twice, buying survival rather than victory.
