OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Lost Polydroxol / Sickly Polydroxol
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Origins: Space Station Infected with Blackwing
  • Average Lifespan: Seemingly Immortal, loss of electroglobin causes death, but body is still infectious
  • Estimated Population: Rare
  • Description: Once an average Polydroxol, however it has been infected with Blackwing. Blackwing caused it to mutate into a black tar-like substance, and has altered its mind to severe levels. The Blackwing Virus has adapted to the Polydroxols' sentience and has essentially become its own being, overwriting whatever mind the Polydroxol had. It comes with a variety of advantages and disadvantages of both the Blackwing Virus and the Polydroxol species. It acts like an oily substance, secreting chemicals and oils that are caustic to most organics and acidic to most common metals. It has lost a lot of its ability to shapeshift into physical beings, barely able to hold any form, but has evolved a new ability to become gaseous.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: None, however thrives in toxic gasses and acidic substances as it combines with them. It is also flammable
  • Average Height of Adults: 2 meters
  • Average Length of Adults: 4 meters (when not shapeshifting)
  • Skin color: Grayish-Green to Black
  • Hair color: null
  • Distinctions: Monomorphic, Sickly Polydroxols gain a new standard form, which is a blob or mess of fuel/oil-like substance, which can almost appear as Mnggal-Mnggal, however they are much slower and leave a sludge behind them. They have a distinct smell, similar to Dilarium Oil or Petroleum. It became primarily carnivorous, consuming flesh at an extremely slow rate, but much faster than natural decay. Acting acidic or caustic to organic flesh, but mostly does not affect bones.
  • Races: null
  • Force Sensitivity: Standard
Strengths:
  • Amorphic - Able to shape-shift to a limited degree (i.e. arms, hands, fingers, faces, heads, bodies. Extremely hard to take on a fully humanoid or other form without a primary "blob form)
  • Seemingly Immortal - Can only die with a complete loss of Electroglobins, shape-shifting causes a loss of electroglobins
  • Small and Large - As an ooze form, it can expand itself or stretch itself, able to fit into any tiny crevice that water can, or appear as a hulking mass of ooze. Does not affect strength
  • Solid or Gaseous - Primarily solid, it can turn gaseous, a similar form of the Filar-Nitzan
  • Toxic/Caustic - Inhaling, drinking, or touching this Polydroxol can be lethal, fatal if prolonged exposure
Weaknesses:
  • Incredibly Weak - The Sickly Polydroxol is far weaker than a human when it comes to "muscle strength," this excludes its liquid form, which can hold its form without breaking under normal means
  • Liquid Tar - It tends to act as more of a soup, than jello, making it ineligible for environmental suits or specialized vehicles, as it would literally look like a dead, decaying, walking suit as it leaked from certain locations or caused holes, to outright complete destruction of the vehicle in hours
  • Electrical Havoc - A Sickly Polydroxol is still semi-metallic, and as a liquid, it can conduct electricity, or short circuit electrical systems. Often times infiltrating electronics and destroying them internally, or almost "rewiring" them to behave differently, though to varying levels of effectiveness
  • Toxic/Caustic - Same as the Strength, however, common metals can not contain a sickly Polydroxol, such as Durasteel. It will eat through the metal, causing a number of problems for ships, vehicles, and weapons or armors. It does damage similar to how it affects organics; at a slow rate, more damage if sustained exposure
  • Highly Flammable - A small flame to a Sickly Polydroxol essentially turns it into a fireball, since it thrives in and combines with oily and flammable gasses. Healing itself, or using its own body to try and put out the fire causes an extreme use of Electroglobins
CULTURE
  • Diet: Omnivore - While it is technically an omnivore, it can only feed on decaying plants
  • Communication: Gargled Speech, Telepathy (with other Sickly Polydroxols)
  • Technology level: Only able to utilize stolen technology, or naturally forming "technology" that is compatible with them - their understanding of technology is that of any average Polydroxol
  • Religion/Beliefs: null
  • General behavior: It is unknown of the common behavior of a Sickly Polydroxol. They have gained the same sentience capabilities of any lifeform, willing ability to create empires, families, and technological advancements, but they do seemingly have a wish to "spread" themselves. Due to the Blackwing Virus, it is suggested that their behavior is somewhat nomadic, wishing to travel and spread their collective mass, or even to corrupt lands in their wake. Personality wise is unknown, as they are somewhat erratic and knew the world, like a newborn baby with the intellect of an adult.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
A Sickly Polydroxol is the unfortunate mutation between the Blackwing Virus and a Polydroxol, the only known entity of this nature has been a single sighted Sickly Polydroxol. The virus seemed to have mutated and evolved alongside the Polydroxol, instead of killing it. However, while it took over its mind, it does not seem to cause obvious deterioration of the body, due to the Polydroxol not exactly having organs nor the limbs really decaying since it had the capability of regeneration already. While Blackwing had the ability to increase physical resistances, it seems to have lost this ability, no longer causing devastation to the hosts body in exchange. Mutating as a form of survival, able to continue "living" to be able to spread its infectious virus, but unable to infect other species. The virus is now only capable of infecting other Polydroxol, or by reproducing, and only capable of communicating telepathically with other Sickly Polydroxol.

I love these guys! The one thing is even if the general behavior is unknown, you still need to add a general behavior. You can still say no one knows it though, and it can always be a cool aspect when interacting with others, but for the sub it does need to be there.
