Ferron shook his head, starting to wonder off in thought as he planned his exit and what task he'll take up next, "please, call me Ferron, from now on. But also, I'm not saying gather your guns and gp to war, I'm just trying to reassure you that you no longer need to fear him. I will shield you from him. If he wants to get to you, he'll have to go through me." he turned and looked towards the sky, making sure to protect his eyes, "that's kind of you, but it would be selfish of I asked anything of you. I came out here of my own volition, and I'm more of a giving, decent man. I don't typically take what I wan, only what I need. I'm not actually rich, if you thought that. I take a meager pay, and give the rest to employees or the company, and sometimes my company runs regular charity. I can't possibly ask you to pay me back for me rushing out here on a whim."

"Thank you, Ferron. Do me the favor of calling me Ra."

She watched as he wandered off slightly and grew a bit of a thoughtful look.

"Would you like to see the castle? Least I can offer while you're here."

Not having any intention of going to war soon, there were still things to line up and arrange before a stab could be given to the Sith. When the time came though, she would let him know. Maybe he could join the crusade then.

"I never thought or suggested you took more than you needed. As for assuming wealth, that didn't happen either."

Yes she lived in a castle, but it was far from its old glory days. Only part of it was actually used and lived in. The grounds were large though and all the automated defenses were kept up.

Ferron was all prepared to leave, personally not wanting to take more of Ra's time, and felt like he had better get back to work, "I am in no need a tour, Ra, but I do appreciate the offer. Well, Kuat Drive Yards is set up to be self-sufficient, I suppose I could take a small break, calling it business if I have to. Would you like me to stay for a visit?" he didn't mean to sound accusatory, he just wanted Ra to know how giving he was. Seeking others approval was something that gnawed at his core, "I'm sorry Ra, I didn't mean to come off as defensive, I just wanted you to understand I'm not someone who's going to force himself onto another for personal gain. Wolfe seeks power and greed, I seek compassion. I wanted you to feel safe around me. I didn't mean to imply that living in a large estate or wealth was bad, either."

"I would like that."

Even if he said he didn't need a tour, the offer to spend just that little bit of time with her, she appreciated. If he had to call it business, then that was on him and nothing Ra said or did would change that.

"Everybody has wealth, but to each person it is something different. Yes, he wants power and I wanted to take him down a rung or two. Well look where that got me."

Not attempting to be flamboyant, she would motion to the armor she wore.

"You want to know something? On your ship outside of Commenor, I felt safe and protected. However, with what power Wolfe has gained, I did feel threatened. Not anymore though. Partially due to this, but also because of my friends. Those that came to my aid that day. You're not alone in your desire, Ferron. C'mon, the walk isn't far."

Ferron grinned as Ra spoke, but he would keep quiet until she was finished speaking. He wanted to give her a moment since he had been forming speeches the whole time, "Well now, you better take back what you said. Don't be sad. Wolfe took nothing from you, in fact, he only made you stronger. Alone, one is weak. But with others, not only do they have another to fall back on, but they have those to push them back up." he grinned again, putting an around around her shoulders to give her a reassuring shake, "besides, if you never took the fight to him, you would have never met me, nor would I be right here, right now, by your side, through the thick of it." He turned his head, looking over at her, unable to hold back a smile.

"Oh I'm not sad really. What you said is true. Besides that day showed him I was not alone. Those that came to my aid still have my back and along with you, we are a force that can be reckoned with. Not yet though."

That time was coming, but with things so in flux in the galaxy and the dark gaining power...they needed to wait in the shadows a bit longer.

"I am glad to know that and I offer the same to you. If you need anything from me, I will help you."

Returning that grin of his with one of her own she would not pull away from his touch. He was several inches taller than her, but that allowed her to rest her hand around his side in return, unless he pulled away.

She would start to walk back to the castle. Looking forward to the chance to get to know Ferron when the situation wasn't as dire or stressful.

as they ventured back, Ferron listened intently. Her help? Or hers and her organization? They could be of some great help, but he wasn't sure if the help he would request would be legal. These were things he would have to mull over and look into, but otherwise, he would not take her help for granted. That he knew. "You take all the time you need to prepare. I'll put some small, unmarked patrols in the area to keep you safe. Hey, look," he chuckled, "I know you can protect yourself. I'll never make the claim you can't, but this way you can sleep a little easier at night - oh and, maybe I can utilize your assistance. I can authorize a special operative division, and you or some of your people can train them. Now that would be the kind of security you need, wouldn't it?"

But Ferron stopped, thinking for a quick moment, before looking over to her, "or, I could stay here. I could put an office in your castle, and protect you. Everyone needs rest, and I know you'd like to have a day when you're not in a panic, wondering with the next attack will be, or when Wolfe will find out you're still alive..." His final statement was in a soothe, compassionate tone, as he looked into her eyes.

For just a small sliver of a moment, Ra grew detached from the conversation as her thoughts went back to a previous conversation. One where Wolfe had said essentially the same thing. That he would leave patrols in the system and some guards on the planet itself. However, it took her only that moment for Ra to realize there was a huge difference between how Ferron meant it and what Wolfe had.

Coming back to reality, she nodded, but did not say yes or no to his offer, if he had meant it as one. When he mentioned the possibility of training his men, that did interest her. At one point in time there had been a facility on Vjun for just that purpose. Maybe it would be used again.

"What would you do on a lifeless world like Vjun. It's not like you can just go for a walk in the woods or anything."

Not saying no, her tone carried some humor and then she saw the look in his eyes. It was a serious offer and he cared for her.

"It is rare I actually panic anymore. And it's almost as rare I get unexpected visitors. I am glad you came, Ferron."

It was not a conscience thought on her part, she wondered what it would be like living with him.

Ferron was not swayed at all by Ra's response, however, her small moment of distraction did get his attention. "I'm a very isolated individual, Ra. The most I usually do is sit in my office and get things done. Socializing was never really part of my life, except in the early days when I had to be as I was the only person to be making the money for myself, heh. What I would do is busy myself with restoring this location to what it once was, and easing the burden off of you. I quite enjoy keeping busy and doing something, although... I would very much enjoy some alone time, with you, Ra." He continued, making sure Ra was comfortable in case he needed to give them some space and not have a weird walking style, "you've had this allure to you that I'm not quite sure I can explain. I also must admit I feel the need to protect you. I'm always off about protecting those who need help, but I've never had a personal determination for it until you came into the picture."

"I guess I've been the one that has to go out and get people. A merchant and all. Much of my time is spent travelling around peddling wares to various people, governments and people."

Shrugging slightly, it was just a difference in how they did business. However, she had done very little of being a merchant since her visit to HK. It was a little wonder as to why. Perhaps she should hang up her coat and stop being a merchant.

What he said about helping to restore Bast though certainly interested her. So far she had only kept in repair the area lived in and the defenses. As he continued she was genuinely surprised. It pretty much blindsided her, but she recovered quickly. Not allowing him to pull away fully, she took a hold of his hand and gave it a gintle but firm squeeze. Looking over at him, she nodded and smiled.

"I would like that. Your companionship, that is."

Ferron had many logical reasons to venture out to Bast. For his company, it offered another part of the galaxy to use as a staging post, and it gave more jobs. But he also... kind of wanted to be around this... woman. This.... mystery. She intrigued him. She was different from Hapan women, and Kuati women. Generally speaking, she did not come off as the typical galactic girl.... and it pulled at him. He went to reply, but then the squeezing of his hand caught him off guard, making him take a breath and slamming a lid on his mouth as he trembled just slightly. 'My companionship?' he thought... "Ra'a'mah..." he spoke softly, pausing his movements for the moment. Ra could tell he had changed suddenly, and there was a tense moment. "Would you allow me to..." he slightly gulped, "acquire your companionship.... as well?" Stupid businessman, not capable of wooing women, he could only speak what his mind knew of. Generic business-related words and speech. His arm that was wrapped around her shoulder, reached down to her back and slowly pulled her close.

She was not a natural empath and as such could only read his body language. However, their close proximity gave her a one up on the empathy thing. Her words and actions had come as a surprise to him. In a far greater way than she anticipated. As much of at a loss on many things when it came to the heart and admitting even to herself what she felt, she was drawn to him. And had been since they met on Commenor.

He said her name and then almost stumbled over his next words. Then again if the situation had been the other way around, she very likely would have reacted in a similar matter. No matter how much he might have been at a loss for words, his actions spoke far louder. What had moments ago been something platonic had changed into something intimate.

His arm around her pulling her in close brought home the growing draw they each had for the other. For just a moment, Ra regretted wearing her suit. She raised one of her gloved hands to touch his face and moved it away quickly to place it at the base of his head as she looked up at him. Their eyes met and she nodded just slightly before giving words to her thoughts.

And there was silence, at the moment, she was bereft of words. Her answer would hopefully be obvious even if she couldn't actually say anything. That hand would attempt to pull them together and before her courage went away, a kiss from her would be planted on his lips.

Ferron slowly took a breath as his mind slowly, but surely, realized how far and fast the situation was progressing. He calmed down, but his heart was as loud as possible. His free hand pulled inward and grabbed at the cloak he was wearing, tearing it off. When Ra reached up to his face, he pulled her in closer, into a comfortable embrace, ignoring her armor. His eyes slowly closed and his head shifted downward. He kissed her back, his free hand now reaching around and pulled at the other side of her waist, so now instead of standing side-to-side, they were facing each other. He pulled her in more so their bodies touched and his hands moved to pull at her lower back, committing to a full embrace as he kissed her. There were no words to say, and it just felt right to kiss her back. He would not pull away until she did.

It was good her armor was light so when Ferron pulled her in, it was like cloth almost. There was no resistance from Ra at all through any of this and she was a willing party. He was as well and everything came together naturally.

Her eyes closed and Ra let go of any thoughts that had been holding her back from something like this before. Time seemed to stand still for her and she didn't want it to start up again. However, time started ticking again and she reluctantly opened her eyes.

Taking a few breaths to steady herself, she wondered if he felt the same way. Looking up at him, she gave him a warm smile and nodded.

"I would allow that."

A voice spoken barely above a whisper, but it need not be any louder between them.

Ferron seemed calm and patient, but it was actually how he was. Sudden, very impacting moments usually didn't impact him until later. He learned to try and keep his emotions in control while he felt vulnerable at certain times, and oh, was he vulnerable right now. But, he still smiled after hearing her words, watching her slowly as she pulled away. He let go of his embrace, just a little, so they could have space to walk should they start again. "One of these days, you're going to have to tell me a little about yourself, and why I'm compelled to stick by you, Ra'a'mah Numare."

"Only you can answer the last part, for I have no idea how your mind works."

She debated on where to start. Not intending to keep anything secret from him, Ra decided to stick with her adult years. In time maybe she would tell him of her childhood or what she knew of it. Not wanting to admit the whole truth, but she wasn't positive that anything she knew of her past was true or false. Her adult life wasn't in question, but her child hood.

"I'm sure you already know some of my past, so I have no idea what you want to know."

It was the same for her. He had told at their initial meeting some things of his past.

@Ra'a'mah

Ferrin encouraged her to continue walking, so they could chat on the way to what he suspected was her home and out of the weather of the planet, still holding onto her side. "Heh, encourage me a little, will you? I'm sure there's some part of you that you know of that interests me. As for what I know, like I said the first time we met. Just tell me everything. I don't want this to sound like an interrogation, though. This isn't going on a record. I just don't know anything about you. Your favorite flower, your favorite food," he looked over, into her eyes and smiling. His hand that held onto her slid up her back, lining up with her heart," what makes your heart flutter."

She chuckled a little at what Ferron said first and shook her head slightly.

"I don't think I can view many more exchanges between like interrogations. What didn't I tell you then though?"

He said to help him out, but Ra really had no clue where to begin. However, he assisted by asking a few things. Simple at first and then closer to the heart. Lifting the arm not on him, she motioned to the world around them.

"This is a world where plants don't live. So I have no flower I can say is my favorite. I'll make you my favorite food if you want."

Falling silent, she had to give some thought to the last detail. Turning her head just slightly to look at him, her eyes held a small glimmer of humor and she wore a tiny smirk.

"Well, that kiss certainly did."

Ferron smiled as he couldn't resist her charm, and he couldn't stay away. "You didn't tell me what's kept you going all these years. There's no one in this galaxy that isn't tied to something, there's no one that has a pristine, perfect life. I live every day to see the people around me smile, I want to bring aid to those who can't pick themselves up and the only thing in return I want is to see their faces full of hope. However, while they have given me satisfaction, only you have given me happiness, Ra. "

He leaned in to whisper to her, "and I'll make this world alive again, to flourish with billions of flowers, too many to choose from, so you can discover your favorite. I'll make you free again, Ra, I'll make you free again." He arched his head up and kissed the side of her forehead.

What had kept her going? It was a good question...and not one Ra could easily answer.

"I am at the heart a businesswoman. So I suppose that is what helped keep me going. Another aspect is knowledge, I want to know as much as I can. You want to help people and in a way I am the same way. Not entirely though, only those that truly need the help. Children especially call to me. Not having any of my own, I help them first."

Smiling slightly, she shook her head when he said he would make the world live again and flourish with flowers. His comment about freedom though confused her a little. She felt she was already free.

"That's alright, I actually kind of like this grey world. Matches my mood often enough."
