Just as Aeron got to all the action. Millions of things happened at once.
The Confederacy were acting brash and feisty.
If this was their wish than so be it. This wish will be their death wish.
Droids took shots at Aeron, but he dodged them swiftly, and activated his cloaking device without hesitation.
[member="Adenn Kyramud"] made a seemingly empty threat about "blowing us all up". Aeron wasn't bothered by this threat at all. He's survived much worse. He's single handedly killed force users on his own, and he won't back down to a Mandalorian who thinks of himself as high and mighty.
As the battle continued between the force users. Aeron moved in closer to [member="Adenn Kyramud"] and once he got within a decent shooting range, he unloaded his dual pistols into him.
The woman had been observing things this entire time and when Muad made mention that he was nobody's man, she smiled. It was so like her buir to say something like that. Shaking her head, she stiffened up when she felt his mental suggestion. It had been a while since she had seen a battle. In fact, it caused her to break both of her legs. More than break actually and they had been shattered.
Taken in at the time by the Confederacy, they had given her a place to recover. In her time with them, she got gotten married. Then she and her husband had left them behind.
Those days had been good to her and now she was back in their lands and suddenly this situation had popped up. As queen of Kesh, she had heard rumours of these Jen'Ari, but they were on the other side of the galaxy. Nowhere near Kesh. What were they doing here?
That question was answered, but then things exploded. Letting out a yowl, she attempted to place a barrier around herself and promptly failed. Why couldn't she be better with the Force? Growling to herself, she did know where her strength was. It was with telekinetics. Picking up a very large amount of sand with the Force, she let go over the heads of those gathered. Friends or enemies, she didn't care. This was chaos.
[SIZE=12pt]Peons and their insecurities, hurling empty threats while trusting that their weakness was veiled deeply enough beneath the shroud of fear the two beasts had undoubtedly erected among those of Tatooine. It was shameful that not only was such belligerence allowed to survive within the greater galaxy, but it flourished. It festered as an open wound in the Force with which the bleeding would not cease. This was the harsh truth of the universe and a truth Abaddon had been chosen to rectify. To expunge such incredulous behavior from the waking world and allow only those with which were strong to take the reigns of the galaxy that had yet to be rebirthed. It his way. It was life’s natural way. It was the only way. Weakness was a plague that thrust itself like tendrils to every corner of the galaxy. Weakness like that of the one who thought hiding behind empty threats and rampaging beasts blanketed that which he really was.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Strange thing, the mind of a beast. Simple. Raw. Untamed. Primal. [/SIZE][SIZE=12pt]The words sifted through the man of the Sith Lord as he finally made his way to the bottom of the Scimitar’s ramp. Red-orange orbs pierced through a shadowy veil as the Force continued to course through man’s veins. His aura pulsed in a malevolent tune, threatening to devour any it touched.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]His eyes scanned the field at play. The Miraluka danced in savage chaos with the assumed master of the heretical Sith which had aimlessly ventured too far from the haven of their false Empire. Madalena spun her own web with a plethora of daggers that hung in the air around her. Muad did, well he did his typical things. The other side showed the apprentice fleeing. And a Mandalorian flanked by the vile beasts the Dark Lord had felt just earlier. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Krayt Dragons were like any other kind of beast and Abaddon would treat them as such. His hand twitched and his fingers curled as he reached down deeper into the Force, beckoning it to his very command. His mind expanded, his eye stinging like daggers toward the beasts the man of empty threats thought he’d be able to control. A crooked smile carved its way across his face once more though veiled beneath the guise of Nirwos. The power of his sheer will and power, driven though the Force, sought its way out to dominate the beasts and make them his own. An ability the Sith Lord had become quite fond of throughout his time trudging through the great galaxy. For lifetimes, his influence had reigned in some capacity; it didn’t matter what body hosted his spirit. And in the millennium, he’d learned and mastered a number of abilities. And among those was the very talent of Beast Control. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]After a very brief moment, once he was certain his will should have dominated the mind of the beast and likely unknown to man whom thought himself its master, an icy and cruel voice would pierce its way toward the armor-clad fool which thought himself more than what he was. “You should take better care of your things. Perhaps then, they would not turn so easily against.” The voice wouldn’t seem to have an origin, and wouldn’t seem as more than a whisper to the Mandalorian, but it would be there in an undeniable fashion.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]He would continue to reach out to ensure his domination over the minds of the beasts would fully take hold while also awaiting the mouthy response he was likely to received from the Mandalorian. Should his actions have proven fruitful, Abaddon would have gained control over the two beasts and he could bend them to his will if not set them into a rampage against one another at the Mandalorian’s very position.[/SIZE]
Mike finally got on the ship. He was happy about leaving the planet, but he had a unshakable feeling about his master. Mike did not know where it came from, so he grabbed a speeder and followed it. He looked over the battle and saw that [member="Darth Animus"] was having a hard time fighting them off., Mike liked his master and could not help himself, but rush to his Master's side. A Mandolorean tried to stop him, so he threw his lightsabre. The guy instantly died He cared about his Master. Ever since his parent's were killed by the Jedi, [member="Darth Animus"] was like a father to him. Without him, Mike would have killed himself already, but he pushes on to defeat any enemy that would ever get in his path.
Animus countered the charge of [member="Voph"] head on. His first counter slashed through the air, curving up and guarding against the two strikes that had been angled towards his face in the same movement, while his second saber shot down, parrying the shot aimed at his leg. The lightning around his blades clashed with that of his opponents with every strike, bringing a smile to Animus's face beneath his helmet. This was the kind of fight he lived for. As he continued his first move, he spun in place, reversing the grip on the lightsaber in his right hand. He pivoted on his right leg, moving his left leg away from the initial strike of his opponent even as he turned his whole body around. He drove his lightsaber towards the side of his foes gut, while at the same time bringing his second saber back up and around, moving to cover him, while in the same movement, sending a brief burst of Sith Lightning back towards [member="Muad Dib"], to try and keep him pinned down.
During the milliseconds the attack took, Animus sent a small message to @Salis. It was a simple combat language that the Jen'ari had developed over the years, with different length sounds holding different meanings depending on where they were in the message. It allowed for simple and complex ideas to be transferred to other warriors in the field in short amounts of time. The message Animus sent was clear enough, and would be the first step in their potential escape from this sun blasted world.
'Eliminate the Sniper.'
As he continued his assault, he caught a brief glimpse of [member="Mike V'Trechen"] out of the corner of his eye. His Apprentice had disobeyed orders and rejoined the confrontation. He would have to deal with that later, but for now it might distract his foes long enough for him to plan out the rest of their escape.
Mike was battleing another Mandolorean. This one is a lot tougher. He tried to fight him with his lightsaber, but he couldn't. Mike almost fell over, so he put his arm out. Apparently, he went over and force pushed him away. Mike ran to @Darth Amious. He said, "What is the plan? I have put the ship on stand by."
I am acting independently. This is in no way through or under orders from the ME. Just me doing stupid stuff.
Adenn growled to himself. It seemed no one here took his threat seriously. Very well then. He’d make them regret that, though not with his original plan. Adenn would do it personally, and try to get the Jen’Ari sith out of there.
“Aegis Eternum, cancel my previous orders. Standby to receive myself and guests. No further intervention.”
“Yes Alor, right away.” Was the immediate reply.
Then Adenn turned back just to receive a barrage of blaster bolts to the face and body. Raising an arm blocked most of the shots aimed at his head, but the rest he simply allowed to hit his armor. It hurt, but that didn’t matter. Then sand covered him, it seemed someone had thrown it all over the place.
Now he was mad, and when he was mad, pain mattered little. Turning thermal scanners on, Adenn looked around. He spotted a cloaked figure, and immediately released a barrage of blaster bolts from his pistol. Then he turned his flame thrower on and blasted flames at the location of where the cloaked figure was.
After a moment he noticed the sith focusing on his Krayt Dragons. Adenn glanced at them and smirked beneath his helm. They each had a small Arikyrzium Crystal on them. To prevent the force being used on them (edited. Only 1 meter range opposed to the 100 meter range of the void crystal). Then he heard a small whisper in his mind, “You should take better care of your things. Perhaps then, they would not turn so easily against.”
At that, Adenn laughed loudly, keeping an eye out on his surroundings. Then he merely pointed at the sith who had been trying to take their minds over (@Aitir Kor’sa). The two Krayt Dragons roared at the sith. One moved forward, positioning itself between Adenn and the cloaked figure, or at least its last known position. The other stayed next to him and glared at the sith.
Then Adenn decided to make good on his promise, if only slightly. He threw a large compliment of grenades into the mix. It was half and half, one half thermal detonators, the other half smoke grenades. It was to hopefully cover his next move, which was to force Animus to leave. Adenn put in a specific message to Animus himself.
“Leave in the cover of the fog. Get out of here, head to my ship if you wish. The Aegis Eternum, we’ll get you out of here. If only because you and I are allies.”
Then Adenn cut the comms, and began firing upon the sith that had tried to enslave his Krayt Dragons. He fired another burst of fire at in front of himself as well, to add another layer of protection against a direct attack.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hopefully Animus would take his advice and leave. Either way, a minute or so later, Adenn would leave as well. He ordered his Krayt Dragons to head back to his shuttle, leaving just himself there. The entire time, he would fire upon any who shot at him. And fire flames at the area around him as well. Being alone though, would be disadvantageous to him. Thus, Adenn jumped backwards and using his jetpack flew away from the fight. He kept firing before spinning, he then flew full throttle to his shuttle. Already landed, the Krayt Dragons had made their way into it and were waiting for him.
Adenn arrived with in a flash, and immediately clambered into the shuttle banging twice on the hull. That signaled the pilot to take off and head back to the Aegis Eternum. He did so with all haste, managing to make it past any ships that may be in orbit. The shuttle flew straight towards the Aegis Eternum. Hopefully Animus was already there, ready to get out of this fight. If he wasn’t, it would be his loss. Because once Adenn arrived, the ship would begin turning away from Tatooine, and this small confrontation.
A few moments later, the Aegis Eternum would power up and hyperspace away. Escaping with Adenn Kyramud on board; and perhaps some others, allies of course.
Mike headed to the ship. He needed to start the ship up and bring it to the fight. Mike wanted to get Darth Animus out of there. He did not want to be there as much as he had too.
Voph stepped forward as Animus turned. Rookie mistake. He brought his lightsaber up, holding it with only his right hand, then struck down with the pommel, aiming for Animus's shoulder blade. Certainly not a lethal blow, but one that would sting all the same. Voph brought his off-hand down away from the saber as Animus turned, hand going rigid as he slapped the blade of the lightsaber away from his gut. Voph stepped back and spun his lightsaber backwards away from Animus in a circle to clip the ground, kicking up a hail of sand towards Animus, and discharging the Lightning stored in the blade in a blast of electricity around them.
Voph brought his left hand up, not relenting for even a second, and ejected the Vibroblade mounted under the wrist, moving to slice at Animus's left arm just below the shoulder. Not a tactically advantageous strike, nor one that would do any significant damage. In fact, the angle Voph had, the blade would do little more than break the skin if it connected. He cursed under his breath at his missed aim. Now he was out of position, and leaning in to a strike that would do him no good.
To defend himself, Voph pushed forward, stepping to Animus's left and bringing his lightsaber over his arm to defend his exposed side from any retaliation Animus might offer, but continuing to step past, and soon behind the Sith to move out of range of a retaliation, moving his left foot back to turn directly to face Animus, and prepare himself for the next attack.
Location: 2 clicks out from engagement zone Allies: [member="Kyrinov"] [member="Muad Dib"] @Voph [member="Aitir Kor'sa"] [member="Zesiro"] Opposition: [member="Salis"] (who is apparently supposed to kill me) @Darth Doom Destroyer Darth Animus Others: [member="Aeron Tosh"] [member="Adenn Kyramud"]
The shots had been dodged or blocked, though for now it appeared as though her presence was still masked. Ideal for taking another shot but at this point the battle was kind of all over the place. Both the other Sith had taken to the sky's, and though her anti-tank rifle was powerful getting through a ships shields was still a bit trouble some and she only had so much ammo.
On the ground the Mando was fighting some Twi'lek looking person... he seemed familiar, not that it mattered, she'd let the two continue, no skin of her shoulders. At the current time her attention was now cast to [member="Helly Reyne"] as news reached her ear that the Viceroy was now aware of the situation at hand, no doubt the women would want on the group information in the current events.
Location: Moved from arial assault on Formota to attack Voph
Animus's command to go find the sniper only furthered her intentions, however her quick rush with the laser cannons were seeming useless so far. She couldn't seem to find her (@Formota). That was going to be an issue she couldn't come for her yet, there was too much land to cover, so she changed her objective. She quickly darted back to the fray of the matter, "Same command as earlier. We may leave soon." She told the droid leaping out of the ship, she realized that this [member="Voph"] character was probably above her. But he was also fighting Animus, so if she could serve as a secondary irritation to the purple lightsaber wielder she would be, giving Animus the upper hand hopefully.
However her attention was still focused on the sniper, she knew the direction she was from, and she fully intended on the next time a shot came towards the battlefield she would track it back to its origin and bomb the sucker to high heaven. As she came down towards [member="Voph"] igniting her blade in its saber staff form and coming down with an overhead strike from behind, she wouldn't be surprised if he somehow blocked or dodged it. After all she could only fall so fast, but she wouldn't slow down. With a duck down she'd spin to slice him from beneath and then dart back momentarily to reassess, speed was her ally and she was going to use it to her advantage. 'Lost eyes on sniper, waiting for second shot.'was the coded response she gave quickly to [member="Darth Animus"].
She grinned even underneath the mask, her eyes lit up with the pleasure of the fight. This was where she thrived, it was the biggest reason she'd become a Sith.
Bombarded with flames and blaster shots, Aeron thought it was best to retreat momentarily, and mend his wounds.
Aeron stop, dropped, and rolled all over the ground to get rid of the fire engulfing his body, and than pulled out a first aid kit to start healing himself with.
"I'll have my revenge [member="Adenn Kyramud"]"
.....
"Right after I heal myself, hang on a moment."
Luckily, Aeron wasn't the focus of his attention. Also he got sand thrown all over him. Why, cruel world. Why.
