SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Beskar Plates: Made painfully rare in the wake of the fall of Mandalore and the strip-mining of its reserves by the Sith, the hallowed metal of the Mando'ade remains a game-changer, capable of deflecting blaster bolts and withstanding the strikes of lightsabers alike.
  • Mobility: Conservative use of beskar plating affords a great deal of mobility for the armor's wearer. Combined with the form-fitting undersuit, the breadth of movement is practically unparalleled as far as beskar'gam goes.
  • Amphibious Perfection: Although aided by Jenn's unique nature as an Ersansyr, the armor itself stands as the best of the best when it comes to amphibious operations, capable of operating in all manner of rivers, lakes, seas, oceans... or sewers, in those unfortunate urban scenarios. Not only is it made to withstand pressure, but the unique shape and systems can allow it to mitigate the impact of currents as well.
WEAKNESSES
  • Plate Coverage: This is Although the suit is made of the strongest material at clan Kryze's disposal, the choice of plate coverage leaves more than a few gaps to exploit by precise adversaries - especially from the stomach down. Cortosisweave provides added resistance to cover those areas, but an observant foe will find exploitable spots if their eye is keen.
  • Relic of a Bygone Age: Jenn's armor was first designed hundreds of years ago, and although Jenn has considerably modified it, she has never quite made the step to fully replace some of its systems. There is nothing high-tech about this suit of beskar'gam: no automated medical systems or assisted targeting modules. The only electronic system is the helmet's HUD, rangefinder, and comms.
  • Hazardous Environments: Although the armor was designed to withstand extreme weather conditions encountered in the wilderness, it is not capable of handling the averse conditions linked to man-made environments. Corrosive and electrical forms of damage are particularly effective against this suit of armor: unorthodox weapons to use in war, perhaps, but a hazardous environment that can be encountered in certain sections of urban environments nonetheless.
DESCRIPTION
Taken captive by the Sith during the course of a perilous mission, Jenn was subjected to a particularly violating experience in which her DNA and her presence in the Force were both irreparably altered. Transformed into an Ersansyr by her captor, her eventual escape left her licking her wounds and nursing a deep grudge - not to mention a newfound sense of vulnerability, as she realized that her armor's systems were now thoroughly unsuitable for her new nature. As a neck-breather, the concentration of life support systems in the helmet became all but pointless, leading to a pressing need for her to bring heavy modifications to the ancient suit of armor bestowed upon her in order to better fit her new body's needs.

Changing the contours of the beskar plating to adopt a more sleek, rounded form that would better suit amphibious operations (and allow for her to quickly remove the plating below the waist when transforming), she also delved into the suit's electronics and life support system. With no other choice at her disposal, she stripped out all of the life support systems from her helmet, allowing it to become remarkably lighter - and reinvested her efforts into modifying the tight, swimsuit-like apparel worn underneath. Made slightly thicker and form-fitting, she outfitted it with all manner of trackers and electronics, allowing it to fulfill its new purpose as the main provider of oxygen when operating in space: rather than re-routing air directly into her helmet, she ensured that it would circulate from the helmet and into the suit, flowing right into the gills at the side of her neck. Through this ingenuous invention, she circumvented the entire predicament that made her species all but unable to wear helmets made for near-humans.

The sleek plating and reflective blue surface speaks of a simple, but no less awe-inspiring sense of majesty befitting of Jenn's role as Alor of her Clan, even as the armor is conspicuously devoid of any markings that would identify her as such. The stylized Jaig Eyes hanging above the pitiless gaze of the Y visor may be a mark of her many years of fighting the enemies of the Mando'ade, but she considers them to be a badge of her wisdom first and foremost: unlike many of her peers, the fierce heir of a long line of heroes, renegades and tyrants holds the vision she possesses for the future of her people as sacrosanct, and the elegant (if slightly unsettling) design of her helmet speaks of such a view.

Some swear the eyes can pierce within the very soul of the person standing before her...

But surely, this is nothing more than a tall tale, or an elaborate metaphor.

I have one issue.

  • Other: Very High
I have seen many resistances I denied over the years that I deemed improbable/ridicolus. Microwave, Nebula, Irregular Objects....Water, but never have I seen the Resistance Other before in my years as a Factory Judge. All ribbing/joking aside, this is not acceptable resistance. Remove it please.

Let me know when this is done.
