Shira is a master of arms in nearly every form of lightsaber combat, however her true emphasis is in the fight with a single, one-/ twohanded lightsaber. While her first lightsaber was hard to carry for the (at that time) rather weak Shira, this changed as she adjusted to using the heavy saber for attack strikes. As soon as she was a padawan she decided to upgrade her lightsaber to the one seen on top, meaning that not only the internal parts got better, but also the exterior laid great emphasis on a quickly changeable focus lense in case the one implemented burned out, as well as a protective cover made out of damascene durasteel that was quite fashionable.
As soon as Shira found the Iridiatrum crystals and the full extent of their capabilities, she changed the blade again, while at the same time creating a second one in case she would get parted from her blade, in order not to suffer the withdrawal symptoms, as well as to have an easier way with enemies that used dualsabers or 2 onehanded ones.
The lightsabers will continue to be active even in case Shira is disarmed.
