A short journey over the city brought no unexpected surprises – fear taking hold of each of the rare passer-by’s heart and mind overpowered the grudge many held for the group ruling the planet, forcing them to quickly scurry away as the Mon Calamari and his two soldiers in tow marched towards the hangar. No words were needed to inform Avreet of the general mood running in the streets; the Force revealed the truth to his senses, just as others could taste or smell their favourite food. The Dark Side ran thick through the city’s veins, made of fear, pain, hate, death, born by the same cause that had made the streets empty. Nothing but gusts of cold wind and roars of speeders reached Veles’ ear canals – witnessing a place that should have been full of people to be almost abandoned like this send shivers of discomfort down the Sith Lord’s spine.

Sensations similar to this were not new to him; he had felt the exact same dread in the air many times in the past given his association with the Sith. Always siding with butchers and abandoning one monster for another seemed to be a running theme in his life, a cycle Avreet apparently could not escape, no matter what he did. A few last taps of heavy boots on stone followed by silence announced the Sith Lord’s pace had come to a halt in front of a massive structure large enough to swallow a cruiser. Rust and general disrepair claimed this to be the right building – only one way to find out. While observing the behemoth from the outside, Veles reached out, touching the soft blanket of the Force in search of lifeforms. Indeed, several have found refuge within the abandoned docking bay.

Darth Venefica arched her left eyebrow at the mention of bodies being eaten. She had never dealt with cannibals before, and she noticed her stomach was turning in disgust at the thought of anyone resorting to such taboo. But the most interesting aspect of all this, they were now dealing with multiple murders; and that didn't settle well with her at all.
"You said he.....can you describe him and his cohorts for us, please?"
According to the reports they had received, realizing now they were muddled, there were no details of the criminals that committed the act, just the result of the act. She wondered why the witnesses failed to mention this before now. Fear or retribution perhaps. But now they had an opportunity to be handed an account of a description for the people they would be hunting.
"They all wear similar outfits. Black and gold armour with a single skull on the left side chestplate."
"And helmets, too," the other witness added.
"The others, we couldn't see their faces because of the helmets. But the one that did the eating, he had a scarred face and short blonde hair. His eyes...."
"Oh gods, his eyes were gold. He was rather tall, like seven feet or something."
"And he had teeth that were filed into pointes."

A cold shiver ran north and south of her spine as she produced a mental image of what this guy looked like. She had dealt with monsters, both on two and four legs, before but never anything like this golden-eyed chap. He wasn't just your traditional murderer, but a person who seemed to regard anyone's life as a means to sate his hunger. These types of individuals were more than just dangerous, they usually appeared to have some sort of god complex; hence the reason for those that followed him. This was new waters to be tested by her.

"Thank you for your help. We'll see that you are well taken care of for your assistance and please, feel free to take shelter within our shuttle. I assure you both, it's quite safe," she said as comforting as she could muster.

When they exited the hut, the two crime fighters walked in silence as they formulated ideas and suggestions on how to go about this. Their next stop, of course, was the actual crime scene itself. When they arrived, she noticed that there was dried blood mixed into the sand and several white blankets, soaked with dried blood as well, covering different sections of the victim. Apparently Mr. Golden-Eyes had not just ate the victim, but dismembered the body too.

"I have to admit Lady Venefica, I've never dealt with anything of this nature before," Sarli announced while staring at the several pieces of blanketed body parts.

Darth Veles’ head turned to allow the big orange eyes to look at a group of nearby Croa spying on him with undisguised curiosity; Avreet’s piercing glare burned through their carcasses riddled with disease and for a moment he regretted not delivering them Gen’s fiery message. The spark of a thought did not live for long, for more pressing matters demanded his undivided attention, and the stone cold expression adorning his face never revealed the Sith’s intentions to the Sithspawn. Shifting his gaze to the soldiers, Veles offered both a nod.

"Stay here. Let none escape," he ordered before bending light to his will, commanding the Force just like he had done many times before and rendering himself invisible, caused some concern among the Sithspawn; not the armoured men, used to their commander’s ways. His words followed by the Mon Cal's disappearance prompted both to train their rifles at the only visible exit, ready to deal with those clever enough to run.

One press of a button later and the Mon Cal’s disguised presence entered the sizeable space lying beyond walls of reinforced durasteel. One visit of a warehouse apparently wasn’t enough, as once again, the Sith found himself surrounded by crates and chests, often stacked on one another and casting long shadows over the metal floor, thanks to the low positioning of the lights dotting all walls and almost touching the ground. A brief glance over several labels revealed the cargo to consist of all sorts of supplies, ranging from clothes to weapons. So far the Sith paid it little attention, most of his focus demanded by a group of humans and Twi’leks moving around, carrying the cargo aboard their prepared freighter that appeared to be ready to take off immediately, only waiting for a signal. Unclipping one curved hilt dangling on his belt, the Sith Lord’s thumb lovingly stroked the weapon’s ignition button, causing the blade to soundlessly rise to life. Slowly, he moved out of the veil of shadow and entered the light.

As she stood watching as another turret was set up she was approached by a woman. "Ma'am we needed to know you asked for us to make sure the shield generators each had additional turrets around them but we noticed you only stressed anti vehicle ones and far fewer designed to handle infantry. Are you sure of it?" The woman asked.

"Yes because guards should be posted there if soldiers are invading the shield generator no amount of turrets is going to stop them all the ones that attack armored targets can create enough splash damage anyways to handle some of them. I doubt anybody attacking will try to conquer a shield generator they will likely try to blow it up. These are to stop planetary bombardment not stop a tank. Also be sure the turrets do not lack an ability to grand crossfire." The woman nodded in reply and Shuduc simply looked to those building the trench system, it took extra work in the sands of this planet.

If an attack occured the enemy would face intense firepower from dug in positions and anti air defenses were being readied here too.Simple laser turrets meant to give basic air defense if they needed to really fight fighters would be required. For that a hanger was under construction too which would house roughly two hundred fighters for purposes of defense. Future ones would house as manhy to a total of a thousand for basic defense purposes.

Investigating Phrik Mine

She couldn't see anything out of place, no major problems while moving with some of her attention on all of them or with some of her senses trained. She could feel more while letting herself immerse in the force and bend the light. She was concealing herself as she entered and started searching through the main sections and tunnels of the mines. She wanted to see it first hand instead of just assuming while she followed the tracks to get in and at the phrik veins before she heard the first miners working with the droids to move the chunks of ore and rock. THe miners getting it and the droids dividing it up as needed to weigh and get as much as they could.

The speeder was soon at the location and Sanya reaching out with the force to detect living beings. Although as she reached out she could feel so many around but many where in the caves. Setting down a small distance away Sanya waited the peacekeepers she'd requested. Minutes passed by in the blistering heat. The heat she was doing so hard to keep out of at the moment by sitting in the speeder with the A/C on full to keep her cool. Closer to the setelments didn't seem as hot but they where probably set up in those areas for those reasons. There where more and more things she learnt about this world. It was still new to the galaxy so there would be lots of that. Not before long a large shuttle landed close by with the peacekeepers falling out in formation. "I guess it's time." She said to herself clambering out of the speeder.

Stood before her was twelve people six with sheilds and automatic blasters while the other six had blaster rifles. It was a good combination especially for the tight space. "Okay so here's the plan. There are several life form's in the cave ahead. Now I'm unsure if these are friendlies or hostiles so be cautious. From what I've been in formed what lays ahead are a spieces named Charon. Their armor shifts to it's wearer, I'm unsure in what way so again be caution. Once we head in the six of you with sheilds will take up the front and the other six taking cover behind. Ill stay with the miners that will shortly be arriving. That way if we get flanked while we do our job it will minimize the risks." She said instructing them on what is to come and happen.

The other shuttles soon arrived with the equipment to set up a full mining operation. But now, now it was time to set things in motion. While the drills and equipment was been prepared. "Okay formation everyone and safety off flashlights on." Slowly everyone would advance forward making there way into the mouth of the cave. The flashlights pierced the darkness inside making the walls illuminate. The closed in surroundings putting Sanya on edge. It was almost every time something important happened small tight spaces always seemed to be included. Nether the less Sanya kept going with the mining crew just behind her for now.

As she awaited things to finish up on certain spots the woman looked over additional things, they needed to make the ground defenses work with the space defenses being set up. For this a few ion cannon batteries had been set up to give support but they were taking time to construct. As she was briefed by the engineers she was amazed sometimes how much the none force users had done. It reminded her they too could be powerful if they chose to be. The ion cannons however were more a stop gap not a full solution to warships blockading them.

As she continued deeper and deeper into the mines the jedi knight could see more of the workers and what they were doing. Surviving down here as she saw some of the creatures and got a small grin on her face. Thoughts of the danger came to her before she saw some of the phrik gathering it up for use. The jedi could think of a few things she could make with the metal for later use and when you were one of the smallest jedi in the galaxy made different only by your eyes and ability to go invisible.... Well you sometimes needed a little help from lifts in her boots while the rainbow colored hair curtained around her.

He didnt want a red lightsaber. He had the idea that natural beat artificial. As his ship passed the Inquisition Space Ring, the kids were waiting while reading or watching a movie "New city. Maybe we could do a little turism" "That would be cool" said Mara "Yeah!"

They arrived to an hangar in a spaceport in Kura. Creating their weapon saber would be the first step to cease to be rookies and become trained force-users. If they wanted to become Sith, Jedi, or whatever path they wanted, he would be fine. They went to a cave and looked around for any crystal that Mara and Vanadis would like.

The Vanr was still moving and on the surface while she was looking at some of the carts and gathering phrik with a look on her face. The carts were filled and the miners working hard as she moved with most of her thoughts going towards some fo the things they could build and construct with things to help improve the black rose. Then she sensed something and snarled feeling sme of the locals who had resisted when they were here before finding the world. She grabbed a mace activating it as the saber batons in it turned on and hiss beams hissed just a few inches from the surface before she was smashing it into the side of one mans head.

As Sanya and the teams of pecekeepers and miners slowly advanced into the mines, the sounds of scattering echoed the tunnels. Web like material covered the walls drooping down. From surveys and such jobs no bug or creature existed on the planet could produce such thick webbing meaning these Charon where ago to spin their own webs. Each obsivation to point out the creatures strength was one that could put it at a disadvantage. Sure the Charon may be clever enough to pull the riot sheilds from the hands of the peacekeepers but by the time it would have been latched on the beast would have been shot. Still this things appearance still alluded everyone. How big was they? What did they actually look like? Where they fast? Where they strong? Sanya feared all these questions would be found out at the last moment. "Keep your eyes peeled everyone. We need light full three sixty around us. If they see us we need to see them." Everyone's flashlights would turn to cover the walls in front and behind. Their heads would be constantly turning and eyes bouncing around every crevis of the tunnels.

They slowly made progress deeper into the tunnels to the point where they hit a dead end. "Okay miners do your thing. We will keep watch." One of them would nod. "Yes Milady." She would look at the crew and gesturing something. "Right everyone you know the drill. Be careful not to waste the minerals many miners have died in here so Lets make them proud." The girl said to the miner's. Sanya would move to the peace keepers. "You six make a wall with the shields. The rest of you behind them anything moves and presents a threat shoot first." She would kneel down onto the dirt covers ground. Her plans on her lap and her eyes closed. She felt through the force identifying movements in the tunnels. Although what she could feel was a lot of movement and the sounds of continuous suffering only confirmed it. Sanya knew they walked into a trap, but they where the bait. Either way the Charon where the pray in the end.

The vast space filled pockets of stars making it all appear somewhat desolate. It reminded Mantic on how small creatures they all were in the vastness of it all. He shok himself out form the current thoughts and turned toward his padawan.

They were positioned in the cockpit of the freighter ship that had taken them this far.

Turning on the holo-projector Mantic cleared his throat.

"The lightsaber is a jedi's most precious belonging. This is assumed by many but few ever reflects deeper on it."

"Padawan, as both jedi and sith you know how a lightsaber works and you have done these things before. But I would ask of you to try and clear your memory of all those pasts thoughts and restart. It is crucial to your own mending that you allow something new to enter your life." he nodded to [member="Rafeesh"] - Mantic was well aware that his padawan understood these things but he felt obliged to tell them regardless.

"Here," he pointed on a spot on the holo-map that was being displayed. "... this is a cave that according to the jedi archives hold a source of light saber crystals. While the information is old I belive that it is worth an effort on your part to try and gather one for yourself."

Nodding to [member="Rafeesh"] hip and his training saber Mantic smiled vaugley.

"The jedi are warriors, you have stood dutiful with your training saber by my side on many occasions. You have proven to me that you are indeed worthy of this. I know that you have planned on retriving other, perhaps more powerful crystals elsewhere. But you can own more then one saber. In fact, from a tactical point of view that is something I recommend."

"once you have the crystal I will guide you through the process of assembling the saber. It is a work that should be given your time and focus ones you are ready. Before we depart for the surface and the cave I would suggest that you do some research on the cave. While I hope not, crystal caves sometimes hold unwanted inhabitants. Use the computer and see if there si something you should be aware of."

Mantic then turned to the droid pilot.

"Take us down." and the ship started to make its way down to the surface of the planet.

Rafeesh had been watching the stars as well, and he saw their beauty, but he did not see himself as made smaller for it. Instead he remembered the days of the war, when the powers of the Sith had become so strong that some had been able to affect the galaxy on its own scale. They were small compared to the planets, yes, but they were not insignificant. The planet's could not change the galaxy, not in the same way as the Jedi or Sith could. A planet was nothing compared to the power of the Force.

He turned his attention to his master as he spoke. The words were important, even as the ritual that he would begin soon was. He was proud that he proven himself enough to be worthy of his master's trust to have a true saber again. The training saber was good, but he had been yearning for his doubled-bladed saber again, only because it was more effective in the peacekeeping roles that the Jedi played in the galaxy. Even more so as warriors.

He thought over it for a moment, this was the truest of new beginnings. The creation of a lightsaber as a Jedi. The lightsaber he made when joining the Jedi originally had been lost on Hoth, along with a number of friends that had died trying to defend against an Imperial attack on the outpost. Perhaps one day it would be found again, perhaps. But for now he had a new lightsaber to make. It would not be special, a single blade as a reborn Jedi. As his master said, he would build more but for now he would start with this saber.

He did not know the planet, having never even heard of it during his days in the Sith and the old times. He wondered what kind of cave this would be, a hologram was not the best visual aid in that regard. Would it be the ice caves of Ilum? Or the stone caves of Aeten II? Or maybe the magma filled caves of Mustafar? He did not know. He had to find out though. So he looked to his master, "This planet, it feels strange. What is happening with the Force here?" He had never encountered a planet so deeply filled with the Force. The closest he had been were Tython and Korriban, but this was different. He felt as if the Force was moving him, affecting him in a way he did not understand. He wondered what this was, but he had to focus.

He looked to the informational holoprojector and began reading through it. There were reports of strange Force activity, but he did not understand it completely. This was a region in which his studies had fallen decidedly short.

The ship shook as it entered the athmosphere and Mantic took a seat and strapped himself in.

"I sense it too padawan. We must be cautious." his answer was short and perhaps not what [member="Rafeesh"] had hoped for but he wanted to keep it short. As the ship exited the clouds the vast planet spread out beneath them and they sailed in the lower levels of the athmosphere for a while before the ship started to decend over as mountain range.

"During your time here you must remember what I have thought you. Remove your mind from emotions and focus on the task at hand."

"Once we have made sure there are no unpleasant animals inside..." he continued as the ship settled down on the ground. "Entering the cave is something you must do on your own. I want the crystal you choose to be of your choosing and your choosing alone. But I will remain outside." Mantic bent down and picked up a life scanner and held it to [member="Rafeesh"]

"Take this and proceed if there are no dangers. Otherwise summon me and we shall approach any threat together."

As the ship finished landing Rafeesh accepted the life scanner from his master. This would be a true challenge. He bowed his head before unbuckling and standing. Another step in this new life. It was not something easily done. As he walked from the ship he felt part of him telling him to turn back, the easy road was behind him. He could simply turn against his master, the temptation was weak. He had overcome that enemy once before and thought he would never truly leave, he would never again fall for its lies like he had so many years ago.

The entrance to the caves was near, but the weather was quite cold, in fact now that he was here he could see that the ground was glacial. This would be a challenge. The snow reminded him of Hoth, and he remembered the men he had lost. He could recall the bite of wind through his body as he had lain in the snow, to attack the enemies that had been advancing slowly. The Imperials had known that they would win, they did not rush, allowing the Republic dogs to sit and sweat hoping that some would surrender. Those brave enough to continue the fight either waited inside the complex and or among the fallen. It had not been the best strategy, but there had been little time to prepare and those with him had not expected to survive. Everyone had just wanted to hurt the Empire as much as they could.

He had seen a few of his men fall before he had been beaten back by a then prospective Sith Master. He had been dragged away near unconscious. He had seen the wake of the extraction ships of the Republic, but they had been too late to save anyone as far as he knew. To be taken to Dromund Kaas and debriefed in an Imperial Intelligence facility.

But that was all the past. He had survived that and while he had broken once before, like a bone he would grow stronger and not break. This lightsaber would be a sign to the galaxy and the Force that he had been redeemed and would never fall into the facade of the darkness. "Thank you Master." He spoke to Mantic before walking towards the entrance.

He looked over the lifeform scanner, there was nothing immediately seen apparently. He was unaware of the dangers of this planet, specifically the Wampas that lived in the caves where the crystals grew. The scanner could not detect far enough into the cave to alert Rafeesh to their presence. He was in no immediate danger. The entrance was close, and he soon walked to it. He stopped for a moment, there was an incredible feeling here, not the planet, but the Force as it came to him, even in its strange state he could feel the light coming to him. He was reminded once more that he had made the right decision. He turned for one last look to his master, before turning and walking into the cave.

Mantic watched [member="Rafeesh"] walk toward the entrance. There was more to this than he had revealed to his padawan. The planet was in fact attuned to a powerful dark side nexus. No doubt [member="Rafeesh"] would feel the temptation. The jedi Masters entire being screamed to run after his padawan, to protect him and bring him away from harms way.
But this was part of [member="Rafeesh"] s redemption and wether the padawan realized himself or not he was coming close to finish his time under Mantics Mastership.
But before that could happen Mantic needed to see that [member="Rafeesh"] could handle himself without his master by his side, that he could collect the right type of crystal and do so with clarity of mind despite the constant reminder of the darker aspect of the force that no doubt would haunt him in the cave.

He had made sure in advance that the cave was not inhabited with anything too dangerous but just in case he had made sure the droid pilot used the ships scanner to track [member="Rafeesh"] as he entered. Would he be given a reason, from the pilot or [member="Rafeesh"] himself MAntic would go after without hesitation.

Rafeesh felt the Force as he walked through the tunnel. Ten meters in he found that the tunnel headed more downwards. It was probably only a minute, but the silence made it feel like a lifetime. Another lifetime... He almost felt his mind crack with the walk alone. The quiet, the repetitiveness of his movements, even the visual ice looked the same the entire way down. He could have handled many things, but the thought of another lifetime spent unproductive was too much.

He realized only a little later that the Force felt different and it was affecting him. He felt as if he was being messed with. He sensed anger and sadness in him, but there was no reason for it. It was as if there was something outside that was affecting him, perhaps it was the memories. He did not think think about the possibility of what was wrong with the Force. There was no way that he would turn back though. He reminded himself of the light, his mission was that of the light in which he had fought. He was a warrior, more than that a soldier of the light. Nothing would force him to back down.

4a967d5e7491dd07956da3f0c4936f4b.jpg
He came at last out of the tunnel to find a massive cavern. It had icicles that came down from the ceiling and had grown into the floor. It was truly impressive and it surprised him. He had not expected this beneath the surface. He must have traveled further down that he had realized, the only thing he saw of the surface was a thick layer of ice with snow that covered it along portions of the ceiling, those were the only areas where some light poured into the area. It was surprisingly bright, he welcomed the warm of his training saber as he ignited it to give him more light. He did not like the cold anymore, after cryogenic stasis it had always been a very frightening feeling. It was as if he could feel each cell slowly dying from a lack of heat and succumbing to the icy atmosphere.

He pulled his hood up and over his head, just to keep it that much warmer. It was a moment later when he heard something, so faint that it was almost completely covered by the saber's loud hum. He deactivated the saber and closed his eyes. His physical sight would not be able to work for awhile, and his hearing would take a bit. He used the Force to see through the darkness, an ability he had been taught by Mythos before turning. Rafeesh understood that what that Sith had stood for was wrong, but that did not mean that all of the lessons had to be forgotten. It was then that he saw the darkness that blinded even his Force vision.

He had been walking how long in this darkness and not realized? Rafeesh hesitated as his eyes opened and he took a deep breath to slow his heart. He began questioning himself. Had he grown used to the presence of darkness? So much so that even after having been in the light he did not notice it properly? That was quite depressing, he was not as light as he believed...

He felt a familiar presence. From the shadows stepped a figure shrouded in darkness. He was back. "You thought I would leave just because you beat me once? You may have won the battle, but there is war to be fought. This is the next conflict, defend yourself Jedi or welcome the embrace of death."

Rafeesh hardly had time to think before a red blade flew through the air towards him. He had just brought his training saber and the activation before he felt the force of the moving saber hit. A fight had begun, but one that was of the mind not of physical. Rafeesh did move, but his enemy was nothing more than that of the darkness given form by the nexus around him. It would not show on sensors, it could be detected through the Force though. Rafeesh was in a battle and while his enemy may not have been real the conflict was.

Rafeesh knocked the blade back, while the enemy moved in and called the lightsaber back to him. It returned just in time to be taken up for a downward slash. Rafeesh rolled out of the way of this attack, moving to the right of hie enemy and throwing wild attacks at his aggressor. The enemy allowed his forward momentum to carry him out of the lightsaber strikes. He turned and pushed with the Force, knocking Rafeesh to the padawan's right. Rafeesh called on the Force to catch himself and maneuver to land on the ground safely.

Rafeesh looked to his opponent, still hiding in the shadows of that darkness of this place, using the Force to shroud his features. "If you can defeat me, show yourself. You have no fear."

A laugh came from the enemy's lips, "I may have no fear, but you do. You know who I am. Use you head, we have fought before."

Rafeesh had figured who it was from the beginning. But he had hoped to have left that behind. There was no time for regrets though. He brought his saber around and charged at his enemy. "You're lying. You always are."

The Sith disappeared in a cloud of smoke right as Rafeesh was about to strike. He reappeared a meter behind Rafeesh. "No. I have not lied to you. Let us fight the Sith. You can rebuild the Jedi as of old. You yourself admit that they are falling. You must stand up to repair what time has done. The galaxy shall war until it falls apart. The Jedi must be reconstructed from the ashes, the masters now will never accept a restructuring of the system. Especially one where they are not on top. Let us work together. I will give you the strength needed to destroy those that would rather see the Jedi fall apart than achieve peace."

Rafeesh whipped around and began swinging viciously at his opponent. "You cannot turn me from the Light."

"You mistake me, I do not wish to turn you away from the hypocritical Jedi dogma. No, I see that you have found truth in it. I am trying to help you get to the real goal. You must fight through the shrouds of the Jedi and cut to the heart of the problem. And that is the fact that you still must accept." He began defending against from the attacks as he spoke, backing away step by step as the Jedi kept moving forward. "I have seen your fondness of the Jedi return, brought back to life by the work of your master. I do not wish to destroy this. I will help you make it more pure. You know that the Jedi are corrupted. You know that your master agrees."

At last the enemy was backed to a wall and he defended one last time, Rafeesh stopping his offensive as well. "You wish to destroy the Order. You are nothing more than a sickness."

The enemy's shoulders seemed to sag and he flicked his wrist and the shrouds disappeared. What stood before Rafeesh was a scarred, facially deformed, mirror of himself. He also had a strange armor that glowed a dark purple. His face was sad as he spoke, "You are wrong. I have wanted what you wanted, nothing more. You may see me as a sickness, the Jedi have made you swallow that lesson, just as they fed you so many other lies. I would wish to clear your mind. Take the power of this place, it is dark yes but it can be used to strengthen the light. Let me show the heard of this place. Then we can return to your master, tell him what you have learned and help him understand. He can join you on a crusade to repair the Jedi."

Rafeesh stayed silent as he moved his saber quickly, knocking the lightsaber out of his opponent's hand. Before the red blade hit the floor Rafeesh called it with the Force and moved it in a wide arc downwards, severing both of the Sith's lower arms. He dropped the training saber and grabbed the enemy by the armor. Adrenaline and the Force flowing through him he threw the man across the cavern. He felt enraged at the Sith's never stopping tongue of lies. It irritated him beyond measure. It hurt him.

The darksider hit the far wall and slumped to the floor. He raised his head as the blood red blade waited near his neck. The defeated Sith looked up to Rafeesh and smiled weakly saying, "I see I have failed. Strike me down. Do it and continue on your destiny. You have already taken your first steps."

Rafeesh blinked, the rage momentarily dissipated. What had he done? This was a trick of the darkness. He was being drawn into a trap. He could not give in. He dropped the lightsaber and brought his hands to his head. There was an excruciating headache. The Sith stood quickly and extended a newly formed hand and the Force pushed Rafeesh back, he tripped to the ground. Rafeesh had enough time to call his training saber to him before the Sith had pounced to him. The saber impaled the dark being. For a moment the enemy simply looked at the blade penetrating where his ribcage would have been. "This is not the end. You will never remove me."

He disappeared and the room seemed to lighten some. Rafeesh blinked a few times before realizing that this had all been an illusion. He knew what he had to do. He sat up and looked around. The lifescanner had fallen off of him sometime during their fight and he could not see it in the darkness. He crossed his legs and brought himself into a meditative mindset. He had to clear his conscious. He had to put his mind back in alignment with the light. He had found another weakness and he would repair it.

The wind was a bit brisk at the surface. Mantic wrapped himself in his robe gathering what warmth there was to be found. While this trip was a lesson for his padawan it was also a moment for Mantic to train his inability to let his padawans go.

[member="Rafeesh"] was a person with a strong connection to the force and he had adjusted to Mantics teachings very well. He should be able to handle this on his own...

Then, a disturbance. Mantic turned to the cave. Teh dark side grew a presence that had not been there before.

What had he done? What had he sent [member="Rafeesh"] to face down there.

Rushing inside the ship he called the pilot to scan the caves for any lifeforms but the droid detected no life other then [member="Rafeesh"] himself.
Mantics shoulders slimped as his mind rushed. What had happened?

He darted outside again and prepared to head down in pursuit as he suddenly felt the dark presence dwindle...

He stopped just outside of the cave entrance. He had been acting like a fool. He should have trusted his padawan and not panic like this.
Biting his lip he took a step back and turned toward the ship.

"I must let him go... " he murmured d to himself as he made his way back.

There seemed to be some excitement and news filtering through as she stood there, Sierra snarled a little while her excitement contiued to mount in anticipation until she got within earshot of the men listening to the broadcast. A grav ball team was pulling ahead and they were all excited for it.... SUch annoyance came to her at the cheering that she was read to fly up and away but these shipments were important to the sisterhood and they needed to make sure it was handled. So why not stay andshe could get some for herself perhaps blessed as a stronger armlet with that magic the sith used.
