PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Imperial Commonwealth of Dosuun
  • Affiliation: Imperial Commonwealth of Dosuun
  • Market Status: Closed-Market
  • Model: CDS-SARX-01
  • Modularity: Yes
  • Production: Semi-Unique
  • Material:
    • Durasteel Housing & Framework
    • Crystalamnium Conduits
    • Resonance Capacitor Lattices
    • Canarocrite Alloy Casings
    • Crystalplast Insulation Panels
    • FleetNet Encryption Nodes
    • Quantum Entanglement Transeivers
    • Adaptive Frequency Coils
    • Mag-Sealed Relay Nodes
    • Neuralcrys Gel Links
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Fleet-Wide Reinforcement: Projects supplementary shield strength to authenticated vessels.
  • Dual AI Security: ERALAM + NATASI validate encryption keys before reinforcement is granted.
  • Adaptive Frequency Modulation: Counters jamming attempts by hopping shield frequencies through FleetNet relays.
  • Fail-Safe Containment: If system integrity is compromised, the relay shuts down rather than bleeding shield power into hostile vectors.
STRENGTHS
  • Multiplier: Drastically improves survivability of allied fleets.
  • AI-Secured: Impossible for enemy ships to trick the system into extending shield reinforcement.
  • Formation Anchor: Enhances fleet cohesion by rewarding tight battle lines.
WEAKNESSES
  • Power Drain: Pulls heavily from supplemental Blackwake cores; cannot be active indefinitely.
  • Line-of-Sight Dependent: Must maintain FleetNet contact; nebulae, ion storms, or ECM can sever the link.
  • Non-Universal: Only works with ships carrying ERALAM/NATASI encryption suites, meaning allied-but-non-Commonwealth fleets won’t benefit. [End to End Encryption]
DESCRIPTION
The Shield Amplification Relay (SAR) transforms the Sondheimer IV into a fleet bulwark, extending additional shield strength to Commonwealth vessels in formation. Through synchronized IFF handshakes and dual-core oversight by ERALAM (FleetNet navigation / coordination) and NATASI (strategic AI core), the SAR ensures reinforcement only reaches authenticated allies.

The relay works by coupling high-capacity resonance amplifiers to the ship’s Testudo Guardian Matrix, redistributing excess shield energy along secure FleetNet channels. When activated, nearby Commonwealth ships benefit from up to a 30% boost in shield resilience, particularly effective in formations or against saturation fire.

To prevent enemy exploitation, the SAR is designed with zero tolerance authentication. If ERALAM and NATASI cores fail to recognize a vessel, even if it has spoofed IFF signals, the relay will not extend reinforcement. This ensures that only true Commonwealth-coded hulls benefit.
